    Just a quick note, this mod does require bApplyCameraNodeAnimations=0 under the [Camera] section in either your fallout4.ini or fallout4custom.ini (I recommend the latter, as this one was made to be used for users to edit).

    Instructions:
    1. You can find the configs under the following path in windows %UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Fallout4
    2. Open fallout4custom.ini with notepad or your favourite text editor (notepad++ for me)
    3. Look for the [Camera] heading, if you can't find it then simply copy and paste the below in on a new line
    [Camera]
    bApplyCameraNodeAnimations=0

    Otherwise, apply the line above to the [Camera] section.

    If you are using any mods that enable the camera node animations, then this can conflict with this mod as it relies on being able to apply the camera settings without the node interfering.

    Also, I am not going to incorporate an automatic turn on for this setting as I feel that if I started doing that then it would take control away from the fallout4custom.ini.

    Update 1.1 Notes:

    * I've removed some notifications that were popping up under some circumstances
    * I've also fixed an issue with the editing keys being live when they shouldn't of been enabled unless in the editing mode.

    This mod all what I want. Thank you! Just have one question? I want to little zoom out from actor in 3rd Person. I think I can do it with fVanityModeMaxDist setting but what is mod's default fVanityModeMaxDist setting? I want to use it as a reference.

      Hi there, glad you enjoy it! The default value for fVanityModeMaxDist seems to be 150 for Fallout 4. This mod doesn't modify this value, but rather adds/subtracts from the zoom in/out that you define for your character.

      E.g. if you use the default, you can only zoom from 0 - 150, on a sliding scale using the middle mouse scroll. Then based on this value, when you modify the Z value, it'll add/subtract from this.

      If you are looking for less zoom out then change the fVanityModeMaxDist < 150, and you won't be able to zoom out as far.

      I made fVanityModeMaxDist=200.0000 and that is good for me. Thank you!

      With my INI settings for both the prefs and fallout.ini as seen below I've achieved the perfect balance! yayyz! Thank you so much, keegars, I appreciate you!
      [Camera]
      bApplyCameraNodeAnimations=0
      fVanityModeMaxDist=200.0000
      fVanityModeMinDist=100.0000
      With these settings you will have a perfect aim set up for 3rd person (won't ruin 1st person at all) but your PipGirl will be zoomed in way too close. Simply adjust the FOV between 65 and 75 and you're set.

    Well, I'm f*cked up. I had Custom Camera beforehand. And wanted to try this one because of "Real time editing" and separeted configration for sneak stance. But as i've deleted Custom Camera, and installed it. Firstly: My modlist crushes the game everytime i'm making any change in it. Second: Real time editing didn't work. Third, as actually most important. I've deleted this mod, and returned the Custom Camera mod. And now my camera messed up, and acting wierd and changes angles with any actions like running and looking around, reloading etc. What files your mod is changing in game?! (even though i probably don't have buckups for it)

    *Update

    Camera is fixed by deleting file in MCM folder - "Settings", which was created by the mod on the first boot i guess. Although modlist is still crashes. Which is for means: am i going to play with no more new mods, or am i reinstalling. Uh.

    Hey, idk where to put this bug since there's no "known bugs" tab, but I'm having an issue with the mod in MCM. I've downloaded it through Vortex. In MCM, it states that there's an error, cannot find the "E3PC.esp" file. So I went to the source mod folder, only to find it right there. For some reason, my MCM couldn't detect the E3PC.esp file. Any idea how to fix this?

    Hello, this mod ruined my camera, because the character's body is in front of the aim now, and even uninstalling the damage continues. Please how do I return to normal camera before installing the mod please?

      I also experienced this issue, I discovered my problem was probably a mod conflict (another mod that affects third person camera I hadn't remembered), I disabled the mod, removed the camera setting from Fallout4Custom.ini and disabled the other mod, reloaded a save from before I enabled this mod and it had been fixed. Also, XxClementxX, thank you for trying to help but you really don't have to be that rude.

      Anyone with this problem, just make sure to configure the keybindings in the mod's mcm menu. Then just switch shoulder and that should place the camera correctly. Then just activate editing mod and adjust to your taste and it should work fine. If it doesn't then there is a conflict with another mod and that's not this mod's fault.....Your mod list, your responsibility to avoid or fix mod conflicts.

    Why oh why is there no Y Axis for gun and standing?!?!?!?!?!

    i can set my melee camera perfectly but i am stuck in a weird first person when using any ranged weapon.

      You can think of the Gun and Standing using the default zoom that you set for the camera, and then the melee camera add/subtracts using the Y Axis from the default camera.

      What I suggest is setting the default camera at what you'd like the gun/standing to be, and then switch to melee camera and adjust the offset as needed. Sadly FO4 camera control is not the best, as a lot of the settings share the same offsets etc.
