I tried this recently on a new install of FO4 on new computer and few other mods (CBBE, few weapons and armor.) Used version 3.1 Picked up the Network scanner and used it on the first console out of gate room. Institutionalized quest started as per normal. Spoke to synth Shaun .. But then I crash during conversation with Father. Tried again, same thing only the crash occurred a bit sooner in the conversation. As Father speaks, suddenly I'm looking at my desktop. Third time, same thing.
I looked forward to using this MOD. 7800 hours in FO4 I'm fed up with the usual pre quests to get to Institute and begin the real fun. Any help, guidance would be appreciated please. Oh and if you wonder, this mod is at end of my short mod list
IIA installed with no problem on my PC. Also picked-up the Network Scanner (holotape). Once I arrive in the Institute lobby its like entering into a black open bottomless space' and every floor, wall and roof becomes invisible and I am literally floating around. Is this a load-order issue? A MOD glitch? Other conflicting MODS? FYI: If I elect however to use a console command to enter the Institute I can easily travel everywhere and visit any areas. No visual glitches. Can talk to all critical personnel. But then the inhabitants turn hostile. I had great hopes with using the IIA MOD and forgoing the cumbersome Emitter building drills and join the Institute for once! Thoughts?
Hey bro, great mod but just have 1 issue. When I am doing the "institutionalized" quest it seems that the Network Scanner holotape doesn't appear after I have met the division leaders, am I doing something wrong ? Thanks again :)
This will complete the Institutionalize Quest but beware.

This will add the Network Scanner to your inventory. Then run it at the terminal and the quest will be complete and the doors to relay will open and the next quest will start.
BEWARE - Do not go into the Relay as the screen turns black and locks up. Does this last forever who knows but the quest is completed, you do not need the relay room since Dr. Li will modify your Pitboy so you can teleport at will.
Hi I made it to the Institute but cannot complete Institutionalized and leave now. I have loaded the scanner holotape but it just says internal network detected but does nothing. I also got the courser chip from the last leader but that does not allow me to get back to the surface either. Went back to the transport chamber were I first came in but the door is locked with a key I don't have. Thanks for any help.

Not sure why mod authors don't phrase these things better. Looks like an awesome mod, but have been kicking the tires for 30 mins trying to understand what was meant.

Why the ambiguity? Is it step by step or one step? Manual overwrite cannot delete [textures] folder. Why is 3.0 not in older files?
Going to try just 3.1 manually and see what it looks like in game.
EDIT: Yeah just drag & drop 3.1 files, activate mod in manager, works as advertised. As a side note: access area did have other things there previously as far as I recall, though that may have been another mod [plenty of exploration comes to mind], (never saw a vanilla game). Nothing major and no problems though. ;)
Important mod, but there is a serious mistake on the Nexus description page. We're told the hidden location is to the west of Red Rocket. It's actually to the northeast. Wasted some time looking for it.

Ignore v.3.0 installer, and just install only v.3.1.
