Feb 29, 2020: Updated to version 1.1 This update does not add anything new. I simply added all assets into an Archive for better performance and a less cluttered data folder. If you're updating this mod then please make sure you've completely uninstalled the previous version with your mod manager and that there are no loose files left behind. Lose files "win" over archived files.
Be aware that this game not only has an ESP limit but also an archive limit.
Q: How do I know if I've reached the archive limit? A: The game will not start. It will CTD on startup. This doesn't mean that there is something wrong with my mod. It just means you're using too many mods that load archives.
Q: What are my options to get around this limit? A: You can do one of the following:
1) Use the old version of this mod with no archives, but you will lose out on the benefits from the archives. 2) Unpack the archives with Archive2 (free tool which comes with the CK), but you will lose out on the benefits from the archives. 3) Merge some archives if you're an advanced user. 4) Trim down your load order. 5) Ignore this mod
This mod is now also available to XBOX 1 users: https://bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4149093
I am done modding for the foreseeable future. I will not be returning to update any of my mods. They are as is. I'm sorry that I never got around to finishing a lot of them. You may do with my mods as you wish except "TTP's Settlement Objects" which includes some assets that are not mine but I had perms to use. If you wish to share and edit the mod then please review the credits and look at their permissions. If their permissions don't allow something then please respect the restriction. Everything else that was made by me: Share, edit, reupload. I don't care. You don't even need to credit me. Thanks and stay safe.
Yikes, my original comment was pretty dumb when you were just trying to help (I've deleted it out of embarrassment). Probably doesn't matter now, many months later, but I appreciate the offer and I apologize for my condescending tone.
I'm getting a "this cannot be added" in my update queue, I have the required SMM installed... Neither the main file nor the updated one can completely download. Now I have three incomplete and un-removable items in my mod manager.
Would be cool if you added a loose file for the Nate and Nora pictures so we can put pictures of our own General (or god forbid Sentinel/Director) in it. Looks great!
Thanks! The loose files for the Nate and Nora portraits are located under \Data\Textures\00FactionThemedWallDecorations\Extras All you would need to do is open the 00FTWD_MODERN_NATE01.dds and 00FTWD_MODERN_NORA01.dds in GIMP or Photoshop and replace the image with your own.
Planning on adding any more or is this a one-shot? If the former, any plans for any cross-faction posters/propaganda (IE MMxBOS/BOSxMM Ally posters, MM vs BOS posters, etc?)
Yes, I will be adding more content to this mod. Cross-faction deco is on my list as well as flags and other types of wall deco. Suggestions are always welcome!
Thank you so much for this. You wouldn't believe how great I feel every time new mods like this are made. I am addicted to adding loads of stuff to my menus.
