    I won't be making any companions this year, hope to see other people's companions.

    I will only be updating this for now.





    If you talk to npcs or vendors with just Hey.

    just put getisid of your companion and put in the conditions.

    Ashame that the mod author for this mod is no longer here with us. 

    I have managed to re-create the steps listed in the description for creating a BoS companion and have managed to spawn them in the world but have been unable to get their follower voicelines working (similar to this author's other mod Companion Marcus) 

    I've double checked the companion scripts for the companionsystem quest and are experiencing a papyrus fragment error for unable to load Fragment_Stage_0010_Item_00 which I think is causing the npc to only say generic lines rather than their companion lines. 

    For context I am opening the creation kit via mod organizer 2.

    I am stumped and if I may ask for assistance for anyone passing by. I will be grateful.

    I'm feeling particularly dense - I've tried to get this working, and followed the advice in the stickied post, but I'm still only getting the 'Hey' greeting and no dialog.

    The worst part about this is that I've made my own companions from scratch with no issue, yet I can't figure out what my error is here. I feel like it might be a scripts problem? I'm no good at finding those errors.

      I know this is a year old but I am having the exact same issue. Were you ever able to resolve it?

    I've never used creation kit and tried looking up how to even get started, to no avail. Is the file i downloaded the template, and if it is how do i get it into the creation kit

    I downloaded this mod because I find it very interesting. Buuut... before installing it, I'd like to know if the Creation Kit might conflict/ruin the custom companion I use at the moment (Ivy companion).  I'd love to try and create a companion, but I don't want to mess things up, I'm not expert enough.

    Awesome mod ! I created a companion very quickly thanks to you ! Kudos !

    By the way there is any way to make multiple compagnons with your mod ? I don't want to use all them at the same Time but i want them all recruitable in my game :). Like said in another post there is only 1 alias available.

      I believe we can creat duplicated aliases. If not I would say you have to upload your companion mod and re-download  to use it. Please let me know if this work. I'm also trying on my own companion mod.
      ps. You can try the Xvasynth to make your own voice for the companion.

    I'm having the problem where my companion just repeats their greeting when activated. No dialogue tree, no recruitment.

    I'd like some help with what I'm supposed to do with the quest to make it work. My companion is already referenced in the quest alias section. I've read the sticky but I don't know what you mean by the 'greetings' section of the quest. I can't find it.

    EDIT: Also, when I open the Quest, I get this warning: Failed to load code for fragment Fragment_Stage_0010_Item_00.

    I first made companion with normal voice. Dialogue worked. Then I wanted to add BoS companion for which the dialogue did not work. In chain reaction the original companion also the dialogue no longer worked, no matter what method used. I dont maybe the description of the procedure should be clearer.
    Seems its maybe because face ripper of how its makes separate esp's. Fixed non responding but she won follow me, dismissed Strong and Heather (separate system companion) but no work. Also noticed the companion has no hands. In the end had to reinsta and remake, worked. Seems got the face export part wrong.

      goto Bethesda and download the Launcher. the CK is there.
      Once it's installed, right click on the exe for the CK and Send to Desktop. That way you can launch it any time without needing to open the Bugthesda Launcher.
      You'll still need to do it once in a while in case of updates.

    Is there any way to create multiple followers?

    By following the tutorial on the home page, I am able to make a companion, and everything works smoothly: He can be recruited and afterwards dismissed.

    However, I am working on a second follower. It is obviously impossible to follow the same step 6(2), as the unique actor quest alias in CompanionSystem quest can only be selected as one actor, not both.

    Additionally, it is also not going to work if I create a new esp, following the same steps from step 1 to step 6(2), as in step 6(2), the changes to CompanionSystem by the previous esp will get overridden. I can see in this case, the previous follower will only say Hey to me, without commands showing up.

    So, is there any way to create multiple companions?

      Use Amazing Follower Tweaks . It's a great Multi Companion handler mod with many options for the companions.

      As for creating multiple, no. Best to make each companion one at a time.
      Creating them is one thing, placing them in the world where they aren't going to cause issues with other mods is the hard part.
