If you are playing in the "Survival" mode you'll need a good strategy. First and foremost catch a sleep before entering the dungeon, so you have a save game to fall back to. The dungeon contain 29 ghouls most of which are trash one shot kill, but each floor level has a mini-boss, who is much tougher and leveled up with the player (and sometimes they drop legendary items). Bring along your companion, silenced weapons, plenty of land mines: Bottlecap, nuclear, and plasma mines are the best. High sneak perk value. Lay the mines then attract ghouls by killing one of them. They will charge you. Retreat through your mine field back, staying clear of blasts, and finishing off remaining wounded ghouls. Ultimately you want to lead through the mine field the mini-boss which means you need to snipe the trash ghouls before they hit your mines. If you come to this vault prepared, it can be a very fun firefight with plenty of XP and drops.
Nora was a secret something, and supposed to get out of vault 111 early then report to the DIA. What's the big evil secret there? I was hoping for something juicy like she's keep tabs on Nate like in the movie, "Total Recall".
Worked fine for me. No bugs. I bet it's too big to be a settlement even if it is a bit smaller than Vault 88 which is simply too darn big.
so i found this mod and figured i try it out its a nice challenge one lil change i would make though is add a floor safe to nate nora player home in the closet or semi under the collapsed bed and that's where the holo tape should be also the 3 encrypted message should have some way to make them read able and have kind of mission to them
Downloading this mod as I'm commenting. I honestly debated whether I wanted to, because I've downloaded plenty of similar-sounding mods that either were too confusing to get through or too tough. But your tip for Survival mode intrigues me (I should think the Fallout devs would be proud that people - a modder especially - approach the game strategically like you have). I haven't yet made it far in Survival mode nor have I tried a stealth play through where I use silenced weapons, but I am very intrigued. Reading through the other comments, it sounds like the journey itself is the reward, not the end goal, which I find super exciting. Feral ghouls jumping at me from seemingly nowhere are the only thing that scares me in these games anymore, and it sounds like this mod has a lot of that. I look forward to getting the sh** scared out of me and trying to survive the feral swarms. Kudos in advance, my brother in games.
sbryndin, thank you for this mod. It is fantastic. How would you recommend getting food sorted in the vault? The place is so organised, that I assume you already have areas / rooms in mind, so I would appreciate your advice. Hydroponics ? Seeing what you can do for a player home shows how amateur my own in game settlement building has been lol
First and foremost, great mod. Had a lot of fun walking and blazing through the Vault. But at the end, I was a little disappointed. There was too little security. It's the f*cking DIA. It should have turrets, Sentry-Bots and such. Just ghouls doesn't feel like a government vault. And I feel like there should be something aweful going on in there. Like torture (Look "Enhanced interrogation techniques" up on wikipedia, thats what I mean). I was also quite disappointed when I found out that (as far as i know) you can't use the the nukes. While it is difficult to do, I would have liked it. You could've also done more with Nora/Nate being a DIA agent. All things I've listed here are probably way too difficult and way out of scope of your original idea, creating a player home in a unique setting. But all in all, this mod is pretty good. Sorry for my bad english, it isn't my main language.
I am going to be doing a run with the Nora Spouse Companion Mod, but I would just like to ask if anyone knows of any foreseen incompatibility between these two mods?

But can you please advise if this is compatible with Mods Like "Start Me Up -Redux" ?
This sounds like a Fun Mod But I need to know if I would need to Deactivate that Mod.
