Just checked it, works great, it would be nice in a (mostly unlikely for an 8y old mod ) future update to relocate the armor in a more Minutemen-friendly location (like the Castle).
You haven't met any general yet, have you? I personally do not know of any general who would wear a torn uniform. You also emphasized this in the pictures. The general usually represents the armed component of which he is a general. And from the above, it can be stated that General Minutmenov is the general of a ragged army. Which I don't like at least. I downloaded this mode because the uniform is torn, I don't use it. I expected someone to point this out to you in those years. But the Fallout 4 generals probably don't play.
What? For real? Next you're going to tell me ghouls and super mutants aren't real either, huh?

Umm, have you seriously been waiting years to comment on the durability of a makeshift military uniform, located in a fictional game, that takes place a little over 200 years after a nuclear war decimated most of the planet? ...Who does that?
Look, if you don't like a mod, you can always leave the page instead of turning all 'ackchually' about it (especially considering they take time to make and are uploaded for our use for free). Clearly, this mod wasn't made with you're type of play-though in mind. There are plenty of clean versions of military fatigues on the Nexus which might suit your needs better.
This was created by OP who felt like sharing it to others who may also enjoy it. They didn't make it for you specifically so no need to tear them down over such trivial details.
He does have a point tho. The general does represent the whole army. So he should look at least better. Preston Garvey looks more like the real general at this point haha. But jokes aside. What mod has that same hat but a clean version? I saw it on google (Currently looking for a MM General Hat) I already have the best MM General Uniform. I just need to find the hat.
I'm sorry to necro this and I usually don't comment but I find it funny that even after the bombs drop, we demand military decorum is supposed to be a thing among untrained militia. With open pits filled with radioactive barrels every 60 feet, it would be absurd to worry about ripped or dirty clothing. Also Benedict Arnold had holes in his boots while he commanded rebel (militia) forces so take that for whatever it's worth. Fallout is a globally shared narrative that has no source or author anymore beyond Microsoft and many of the best Fallout creators are outside the Bethesda umbrella, so why try to limit them demanding art reflect life? TBH that's the same special sauce that's ruining movies, so I can't just let these arguments sit here with no rebuttal forever. Respect the impossibru
honestly it would b amazing if u could make it craftable at the chem station!,!, so if u could b a dear sweet heart and make an update so i can craft these items that would b great. thanx by now.
Simply complete the game far enough to unlock the Prydwen, and thus, the typical BoS armor sets. On the main deck you'll find the Armor. Currently the hat isn't coded in, so if you would like to spawn it in alongside the armor once you find it. Simply search in command prompt using "Help General 0".
Currently making an attempt at it, but for whatever reason it is appearing Either A: Transparent, or B: Default Textures. Which I assumed were attributed to the _s.dds files. Considering I was using other standalones as reference material, and they hadn't altered theirs. But when I restore that to it's default state, I just get basic Scribe armor. Driving me crazy.
Possible to get this in like a medium to dark grey on the sweater/hat, with the black vest remaining? And the patch on the left just being the Minutemen crossed Sword/Lightning emblem instead? Love the Scribe armor, would wear that in a heartbeat!
I believe there are already Dark grey variants of this in the Vanilla version of the game. Called BoS Fatigues if I'm not mistaken. Let me know if I am wrong, I'll consider small requests like this in the future once I've nailed Standalone coding.
They're like a tan/grey vest, with dirty grey/red sleeves sadly, and also infinitely lower stats than the General's outfit. Looked it up, uploaded a screenshot of my character to show what they look like in game.
Would love the black/medium-dark gray, but I understand if you can't do it atm. Gonna download and endorse this for ya as it's a fantastic idea, been wanting this Scribe look but in an actual usable armor. Thanks!
Wow dude, this is amazing. I'll try adding it as a new armor + support so you can craft it at workbenches if I can, probably best retexture I've seen so far.

...just like you said, but I don't get a list of the item codes.
could you edit to have this costume available in a box
outside of Vault 111?
