This is such a hidden gem. It's very rare to see pump-action shotgun with functional power armor animation and it shows that you put a lot of effort into it. Endorsed
Wanted to ask your permission if I could use your Krait shotgun 3rd-person power armor reload animation for a fix/replacer mod I've done. You're one of the few mod authors that bothers to do animations for power armor, which is greatly appreciated.
It would be the one animation used to replace the broken reload for the hunting shotgun while using it in 3rd person while wearing power armor.
I wouldn't say "bad" I would say "underdeveloped", beautiful looking shotgun but watching the videos it feels very...lackluster when fired. If this was corrected it would never leave my load order. I will say though the Author has done a fantastic job of making the Shotgun feel like it belongs in Fallout, most shotguns are too modern which takes me out of the Fallout art style and lore.
My only issue is that the anims has a bit too much screenshake. If Scail could make a patch for less screenshake at least for the reload that would be appreciated.
This is the best shotgun mod! It's also compatible with Power Armor, which is great. But it's a pity that I couldn't hear the sound of Power Armor when I was running in the first person
Your shotgun uses something that allows it to kill human enemies with the shotgun death animation. It's a staged animation where the enemy is shot backwards and their left leg is kicked up. It is the same thing as when enemies die and "preform" a canned animation BEFORE they ragdoll. Shotguns in Vanilla have a canned anim that sends them backwards, yet mod shotguns don't seem to trigger this.
Using the Ithaca or any other Nexus shotgun mod doesn't trigger this death anim. Using yours or vanilla Double Barrel/Combat shotguns does.
Do you know what the trigger or event is that causes this animation to occur? What did you do differently that makes your activate the shotgun death? I have a theory that it's either the projectile, or weapon type but I can't seem to find any records or keywords that are different in your mods using FO4Edit.
Shotguns need to be put inside the WeaponTypeShotgun Formlist in the CK.
Scail somehow got his shotgun inside the LL, and it is picked up as a shotgun and utilizes the shotgun death anim.
I asked for the sake of education and information, and I feel as though I was ignored. For future reference, if you make a shotgun mod, please add the weapon to the Formlist. It'll be much better for it!
Just want to ask , how to use the 4k patch ? Do i just put it in the data folder or do i need to change the name of the 4k patch then override the old file?
This is not a patch, just an alternate version. Extract the Krait6712 - Textures 4K.ba2 file from the archive and rename it to Krait6712-Textures.ba2, then replace the Krait6712 - Textures.ba2 in the Data folder.

I've made a "fix" for it already using the vanilla lever-action animations, it works but is jankie at best.
