I wish this mod implemented a fast travel point inside the home, having to fast travel, and then load the interior and then use the elevator sounds super annoying. It looks amazing besides that.

Does this mod conflict with Better Goodneighbor ?

    Hello,
your mod looks quite interesting, but I haven't tried it yet. Can I send companions there? And have you created an icon for the map in the meantime?
Thx for reading and best regards.

One of the best player homes I've used. It's a perfect mix of a static player home and a buildable one. No running around different rooms/floors looking for that specific container, it's all close.

The only problem is that the Weapon and Armor workbenches on the rooftop terrace does not seem to be able to get the materials stored in the workstation. But I solved that by putting the "All-in-one" workbench from Compact Crafting in the loft.

[Edit] And just because of that something strange happend. Somehow the game has teleported a traincar in to the loft... If I load up a save before I went to the glowing sea it's ok. But if I load up a broken save and then go to the one that previously worked, the traincar is there again. I wonder what happend?

[Edit]: I think I have finally found the source of the problem. I will be looking into it in the coming days :)

      Hello krillelille

I am very humbled by your positive response to the mod! So glad to hear that you enjoy it.
You are unfortunately not the first to experience weird bugs. Several other users have reported traincar doors spawning in the apartment, and I have absolutley no idea what causes this. I suspect that it has something to do with the cell that I duplicated when originally creating this, but your guess is as good as mine. I have not returned to the mod since the last update (that added the workshops) which was quite some time ago by now.
I honestly thought this bug disapeared with the last update, but it seems worse than ever! (First a traincar door, now a whole traincar! haha). I am thinking of perhaps moving the iterior to somewhere else in the interiorspace in hopes of that solving the problem. Whould you be interested in testing it for me if I were to make such a change? :)

I would gladly help if you want me to test something. Thou as the problem seems to come and go, and I don't know how to replicate this train bug, I don't know how much help I can be.

The biggest issue for me is that it's almost two years ago that I began working on the mod, so I can't really recollect what I was doing back then (was fairly new to working with the Creation Kit) haha. Anyway, I believe I might have solved the issue. I will upload a test build under "optional files" for you to try out if you feel like it. It's based on a V1.4 build I started work on back in the beginning of 2020, so more of the clutter in the apartment has now been made static, but other than not much has changed. I've removed some references to the traincar / train doors that has bothered you and others by using third party software (these did not appear in the CC), so I hope that they are gone for good. If not, please let me know :)

One thing I noticed now, no idea if it was like this before, if I load a save from within the loft it says "Train car" as my position for the save. And when I look at the lokal map there is a traincar in the middle of the map.

Easteregg put in by you or something funky going on? :D

Haha, well shit. Those train parts just wont quit, eh?
I'm almost certain that the issues are a remnant of the cell I duplicated and used when I originally started working on the mod. I think that the base game somehow conflicts with the cell as it has a bunch of references that I cannot remove.
Well in that case I've come up with a new plan (if you're up for another test?).
I'll start work on it in the coming days, perhaps this evening :)

I have upoaded the new test build under optional files. I am quite confident that all the train-related issues has now been solved for good. NOTE: The interior has been moved to a new cell which has most likely caused some small issues -> The interior is currently not nav meshed and I suspect that the workstation containers are no longer linked (will fix this later). Also, all the stuff you added to the interior via the workstation are likely gone and i fear the containers in general no longer has any items in them, so make sure to remove any stuff you want to keep (Let me know if the containers are empty). If it seems issue free I will hurry up and fix the workstations / navmesh and make an official release soon! :)

Tried it now and it seems to be working. All referenses I've seen to a traincar is now gone. Map looks fine, save files has the correct name, not had any thing strange happen.

As you mentioned, everything I had built (not much mind you) and the loot I had (don't worry, nothing big dissapeared, I emptied everything and just put experimental stuff in containers/racks/mannequins) dissaperared. So it's a complete reset of the cell.

Great job with updating this! :)

On a side note, a small request: Would it be possible to mark the "wet floor" sign and the blue door standing against a wall as scrappable? Not even with the "Scrap everything" mod I can remove those two objects. Everything else works thou.

      Thanks again!

[Edit]: Didn't manage to make sign / door scrapable. Will look into it for the next update ;)

Fantastic! Thank you so much for your help with this. If not for your orignal comment I don't think I would have ever gotte the damn thing fixed.

I'll take a swing at making the sign/door scrapable, it's the least I can do. In general, there's a couple of details regarding what items can be scrapped, workstations sharing containers, navmesh and such that needs fixing. I'll roll out the 1.4 update later today, hopefully with most of these things taken care of.

Feels so good to finally be able to mark the train bugs as "Fixed". What a ride.

Anyway enjoy the (mostly) bug free version and feel free to drop requests or suggestions in the future :)

    UPDATE:
A kind user on the Nexus Forums by the name of Pelgar has helped me look into the boxcar / boxcar door issue. As such, I will be returning to the mod in the near future in an effort to finally get i fixed (sorry, I know it has been a long time coming). In future updates I also plan to make the clutter of the apartment static, as well as making some minor visual changes. Stay tuned! :)

Easily my favourite goodneighbour home mod, and possibly my favourite in general. The addition of the workbench makes it SO EASY to add in the extra mod workbenches. Thank you!

Small update. I'm currently working on making some of the objects in the apartment static, as well as making a useable terminal on the desk. I am also considering expanding the building with more rooms.

Every time I play FO4 I spend ages looking for a Goodneighbor player home (I generally use Goodneighbor to sell all my loot and resupply) that I really like, and so when I found this I was delighted. I like the relatively small size, because I hate having to spend ages running around looking for the stuff I horde. Also the outdoor garden/work area is really cool. The chairs on the balcony are a little close to the edge though. I sat on the left chair, and when my character stood up, she fell to her death lol. So use the chair on the right if you wanna enjoy the Goodneighbor view.

Would also love a version with all the clutter items/scrap made static, but that's a big ask, so don't feel obligated. Really great work, and thanks! :)

I'm really happy that you like the mod, makes putting in the hours worthwhile. I am planning on updating the mod later this year, adding a workshop to the interior and fixing minor issues, I'll be sure to fix the chair-issue. I'll also be sure to look into making the clutter static. I'm currently short on time, so it will most likely be a couple of months before I get arround to it :)

I would recommend OCDecorator (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4270) for making static clutter manually until this gets updated.
