Works but an issue is that you can't destroy the turrets at the Compound.

Here's my patch fixing all the flaws thenextmoses was unable to work on before he jumped ship. Report any problems.

Not sure if this mod is still supported. Downloaded today. The doors/turrets can be scrapped no problem but still can't touch the beds for scrapping/replacing. Any suggestions?

You might want to uninstall it. There's been an issue with workshops getting corrupted and crashing games that was mentioned back in 2015. So yeah, if owned beds is your worst problem, consider yourself lucky.

On the plus side, it seems that if you use it to scrap the turrets, then unload the mod, the turrets are still gone. Same goes for the corpses. Opening workshop doesn't crash once you unload the mod.

There are 2 other Covenant mods that try to address that.

Causes CTD w/ that bloodpack item... Thought this was what I was looking for at first... Meh guess I'm stuck with a crappy settlement still...

you can click on the turrets whilst in console and type 'disable' and they will disappear, and when you have access to the workshop you can replace them and they will have a defense rating incase you didn't know...

It's highly recommend to use "markfordelete" over "disable". As the delete command makes sure it's completely gone and doesn't add any bloat to save files, reducing size. As disable doesn't actually remove an item from game.

Just found out, in this case, you need to use "disable" not "markfordelete" here. With "markfordelete" command, the turrets don't actually gone. If you enter workshop mod, put your mouse on the stand, you can still see the turret's name float there, and you can't build your own turrets there.

yeah thats because you mark for delete and then disable. and then they are gone forever.

if you just disable they can be brought back or add to your save file bloating.

Okay, the crash people are having, I see the problem.

It's the new blood pack item. Delete it from the mod, replace it in the recipes that use it with the ACTUAL blood pack item. Problem solved, no more workbench crashes.

Any way to make the turrets fixable? I destroyed them all in my game.

You can give the existing turrets a defence value with the console. Select the turret and use 'setav 333 8' will set the defence value to 8 like a normal heavy turret.

I had the CTD bug too and did some testing after reading comments about it. I'm almost certain it has something to do with materials you can "scrap" from dead bodies. I had no issue scrapping everything else, but every time I tried accessing the workshop's inventory AFTER I had scrapped one of the residents, the game crashed instantly. Hope it helps, and sorry if someone had pointed this out already.

My solution for the issue atm is just to scrap the bodies, quicksave, and disable the mod so the unwanted materials get deleted. After loading and making a new save without the mod, just enable the mod again and you can carry on without worries.

Having same issue, will try your workaround. Though this town is turning out problematic enough that I'll try to make it so I don't have to go back often.

I think it may have something to do with how the scrap produced from the bodies seems to be labeled. This confused me considering I didn't have the better item labeling mod, so I thought that perhaps this mod was intended to be used in tandem with said mod in question and would cause crashing when the materials were accessed without it.
