This mod despises me, if it is a business, even if you have to pay 3000 caps in advance, but it can help you a lot in advance in stores!

For those unable to find the machines in the build menu. this mod creates its own menu category for its items, so it isn't under any of the sub menu's like resources or power. So just open the build menu and scroll through all of the categories and eventually you will find one for this mod's vending machines.

I could see these vending machines craftable without the Local Leader 2 perk, since they don't involve settlers at all. Plus, you cannot invest in them with Cap Collector 2 (unlike emporiums) and they can't use unique merchants to upgrade to level 4 (unlike emporiums, once again). They would be much more useful as an alternative to a low charisma character, than someone that can already build the max level stands. Maybe make it Cap Collector 2 only, remove the bonus happiness, and increase the power demand to balance it out.

Don't get me wrong, I love this mod! I know I can make the changes myself in FO4edit easily, but I just wanted to share my thoughts.

I can't find where to build them in the workshop menu. I have looked in resources, stores, electrical, I just can't find them anywhere. I have tried installing manually and with vortex.

This seems perfect for non-setter settlements like Home Plate, the Neon/Noir Penthouses from CC, and the many player-home mods that aren't in the main worldspace.

I'm curious though how this would function is I did something like one of the portable workshop mods and built them at a location like the middle of Diamond City, Goodneighbor, or even just in downtown Boston?

But which settlement vendor group would it link to?

The items sold are the same no matter where it is located. If you are referring to the settlement bonus (caps), then you are better off asking at those portable workshop mods.

If anyone is looking for an easy way to give the screens a glow, grab Settlement Objects Expanded and go to Power -> Settlement Objects Expanded -> Lights -> Light Sources -> Non-Shadow Omni -> Small Dim and pick green. Then just put the orb in front of the monitor and you get the pale healing green glow of convenience!

Uploaded some pictures if Vzen is interested.

If you have any future updates planned, could you please add snap points? Then they can be strung in an organized line like the arcade machines from either the CC or Pra's arcade mod.

      Yes,
easily if you know how to use FO4Edit

      Its under Container > vm_VendorChestArmor
      Edit the bottlecap field.

Then you can add/copy that field to other vendorChest

There's a known bug that if a vendor has over 63,000 caps base (that's their default funds before you buy anything and give them more) you don't get paid when selling to them. So if you're going to edit the machines' purchase funds, be sure not to go higher than that amount.
