The version 1.2 removes the chest containing the Workshop spawner, it doesn't remove the gun if you already have it. You can now craft the gun at any Chemist workbench for 1 cap, you'll find it under the category "Settle Everywhere".
The settlements workshops (Other than the one you can spawn) are no longer automatically unlocked when starting the game. This change is not retroactive and won't affect pre-existing saves.
This is explained in the description of Conquest more precisely. Basically, those items are not designed to be scrapped and are likely physically attached to objects. If you want to find out, make a quicksave, open the console, click on the thing you want to scrap and type "disable", if it borks stuff just reload.
This mod is one of my "must have" in the game. However, I found something odd in this one. The companions are trying to walk through the bench I spawned, mainly during using the bench (building or scrapping). How to correct it?

I read through the comments, but could have missed this question. The mod is fantastic for building anywhere I want. But, wanted to know how to recruit settlers there. I can spawn them with the console at the location, but no trading or assigning them to anything. I can assign them to go to other settlements.
If I have sim settlements auto assign feature on, would that assign them? Do you know another way? Want to populate the settlements made with this mod. Just making very small settlements.
love the mod. although it dont seem to work the way it used to. maybe i might have got the wrong one? in the past i was able to name the settlement i made using the mod. now hen i spawn one in theres nothing on the map to indicate a settlement at all. am i doing it wrong?
you can do that with a Mod called "Conquest - Build new Settlements" .. you can still find this Mod in the Mod-Section of Bethesda when you start the Game
I claimed the bar where everyone knows your name and broke up the bones of Norm and Cliff. Feel a tad guilty but they were in the way of my new Television showing Night of the Living Dead. If I placed a workshop in an unmarked location such as this and a creation club quest places someone there later, will there be a bug?

Downloaded 'Scrap Everything' and tried it with that but same result.
