Unsure if the mod author is still active, but I was curious if there was possibility for a two handed version of this blade. I think the handle is large enough to support such animations without looking odd or clipping all over.
Other than that, thank you for all the work you have done on your mods. I really like them, specially the Cazador hood and coat!
Very Good! But to be 100% lore friendly you need to change to Ghoul Slayer, zombie is, to say the least, a lost word that isn't much used in the Fallout Universe (the word started to be famous after the timeline divergence from real world to Fallout world), even though ghouls are radiation-zombies https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Zombie
Yeah, but what I'm saying is that no matter the type of ghoul/zombie, if it's feral, rotten, bloated, the glowing one, or those pre-war rational ghouls, you won't see people using the term "zombie" as it's used on real world today. In Fallout 4, it isn't even used, compared to older Fallout games.
Gabriel Its actually depends on what people mods your using too, cant remember which mod it was ,as I had a couplethat added npcs, and I heard a raider yelling some form of abuse whilst trying to kill it and saying the word zombie, I heard that much as I took the option to run past .. And a female settler was chatting like they sometimes to another , if you happen to be passing, killed me a couple zombies the other day, I was like aww lol.. so they will say it, albeit sometimes rare or not and just random ..
I prefer it as is, since the weapon doesn't add any legendary effect like dealing increased damage to ghouls, and ghouls are pretty weak I'd rather not wasting a legendary effect slot for just killing them. I like to think the name is based on some fantasy comic of Fallout, like the grognak axe. Ghoul Slayer sounds too normal, and if I'm not wrong any weapon that has said legendary effect will get the prefix as well, not unique, not cool.
If you are into lore, just imagine zombies exist somewhere in fallout world as well, this blade once belonged to a guy who fought against zombie horde, died fighting and the blade lost, but its schematics are still kept and then for some reason the schmatics was found and brought to commonwealth. In my game I gave the Butcher to a gunner named Tessa, and bought the schematics from black market (a feature from the mod Horizon), modified the blade so it can be upgraded so it won't be useless late game.
I feel sorry for a guy who doesn't know how to change a number in the esp, so he gave up on the mod just because it doesn't deal enough damage in his game and he has zero ability or determination to learn things himself.
It is, yeah. I remember ghouls being referred to as such in previous games by certain people. "Negative stereotypes about ghouls stem from wastelanders who couldn't care less that not all ghouls are feral. Terms like "zombie," "shuffler," or "brain-eater" are common insults. Because of this general negativity, some ghouls, such as Roy Phillips and Mister Crowley, have likewise developed a bitter hatred of humans." -https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Ghoul Could just consider it referring to ferals, as that's pretty much what they are anyway. Regardless it's a fantastic looking weapon and looks like it fits right in. Fits right in a Grim Fallout especially, as it includes literal zombies, among other things :D
Will the mod be available for Xbox? It look so cool. My characters are snipers but I would do some melee combat if they had something that amazing to slash ghouls, mutants and other evildoers of the Commonwealth :o)
The Zombie slayer is really well-made, I got addicted to it. However the sound when hit is somewhat ... out of place. Not the swing sound but the impact sound, always sounds like metal whether hitting flesh or metal. Took a look at your esp I realize the impact sound choice is all metal baseball bat impact sound. Changed the impact property to the one from vanilla Shiskebab and now I can enjoy grilling the ghouls. I use this with CROSS Crit-Gore Overhaul for maximum awesomeness!
Hello This was a good weapon for early levels , but once you start to higher from mid 30's an up its start becoming not worthy to keep around regardless of weather you have perk points or not , I dont have full perk points, but even with I have , it not doing it ... I use a mod .. or 2 , that adds npc's and the ghouls are quite a bit tougher , plus the noise from flame in first person gets annoying over time... But thanks for bringing this mod here...

Seriously nice though.

But I'll definitely use this mod!
