If you rarely seen him on table: Eventually Maxson will in some way walk to the table and stand there. try to lure by talking and walking close to him then walk away.

I believe that's why he asked for help and suggestions not opinions and snipes. I would be glad to help if I had any knowledge with this but sadly no. Suggestion bigger proper desk. One thing missing is a weapon rack of sort to be at his disposal and for those at his meetings. If something where to happen they could quickly defend them selves since this position is right at the entrance. A Scribe typing on a terminal transcribing his every word as wisdom since most almost consider him a God of the Brotherhood.
That is a bit the opposite from what I see at his working office at his room. But nevertheless your input is well taken!
EDIT 2: I cant find a suitable table. If you're a modder and have suggestion of table name, please suggest me. I've used bigger table, hopefully it satisfies you a bit.
EDIT 2: More formal desk I think not, because he already has one in his bedroom (a formal, office terminal) so I'd say he does not need more. But more of a bigger table to accommodate documents.
