MO2 installs this mod properly, or at least it doesn't show any errors while activating it, but the gun is invisible and is held like a pistol, and usually makes little to no sound when fired.
Thanks for doing this. My main gripe with Fallout 4 was the cartoonish looking weapons like the Pipe weapons and 10mm pistols. Before this, Modern Firearms was the only mod that could really get rid of them.
I personally got no problem whit the Pipe Weapons sure some of them needs some rework and that magazine well need to move up and be correctly aliened. but after that I sort of wish there was some more post war weapons that didn´t look like scrap. we got Pipe weapons that was both pre and post war. then we got stuff like combat riffle, plasma and lazer thats pre war. then we have the assult gun that I presume is post war (and feels more like a machine gun).
there was the Yona Defence gun that was like Pipe weapons but the one making them had a working workshop and a forge. yes the Defence gun in no way beat any gun except for Pipe guns but it feels like something that could be semi mass-produced post war by any serious none raider faction.
and on the 10MM pistol I sort of agree and disagree I think the biggest problem is that the 10MM pistol more or less is the only pistol (minus revolver and the uniq delivers) because the 10MM pistol feels like a weapon designed to last for 100 year of active service and more or less only used by the Military and Vault tech. the rest should use something like the 9MM pistol used in New vegas. that said the heavy frame version need to have working flash lights or laser sites because that is what that metal piece at the bottom looks like.
final thought Bolt action pipe/hhunter pistols need to go away and be replaced by bolt action rifles. because who uses bolt action in short range?
For some reason the combat rifle replacer makes all combat rifles half invisible withe the other half being the vanilla model. also the name of the weapon is still combat rifle. where did i go wrong?
i had that same problem too and i believe that you need a new save file to fix that i dont know exactly why but i have tried clean installs and other smaller change but a clean save will always fix it
One question. Why did you change it to a 5mm round? You do realize that 5mm is smaller than a .22 cal round. 5.56 or .223 would have been a logical step, but 5mm???:)

A change back to the original 7.62 x 51 mm would help greatly. Don't understand why anybody would want anything with 5mm. That size round is basically smaller than a .22 cal. A .22 is good for plinking and shooting crows or rats but useless for anything else.
