hi how can I add a weapon of another mod on the backpack? could you get me a guide to add new weapons? the weapon in question is this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41444 . there is already a mod that makes it visible on the back but I don't like it because without strap / holster, I'd like to have it on top of the backpack. could you kindly help me?
Download the tutorial by Friffy from her mod page, which is linked at the bottom of this mods description page. It may seem complex at first but it is so well laid out and well detailed you can just follow it and you will have what you need. And, if you are starting with a holster item that is already made you will be halfway there already. You can use an item from this mod and the backpack you like from this mod to position your new item properly when you get to that step, as well as copy over the straps to your item. I would suggest you get friffys guide, Outfit Studio (from Bodyslide/OS), and nifskope, and start to tinker with the items in this mod so you can get a feel for how they work.
