Got every .wav using lazyvoice and copied into the butch folder, I am going to see if it worked; I have 0 clue what I am doing but will at least upload the files into a mod for someone else to try oop sound files were taken off nexus, have this mediafire link for em http://www.mediafire.com/file/g53e57w9em7rp35/sound.rar/file
(it seems you need to go into the F4 butch dialogue and add the sound files to each but it doesn't give the edit option) for anyone reading this, clearer instructions are: get lazyvoice open twice gamemode fallout 4 on one, and 3 on second file open for 3, just open fallout 3 and click voice type, search butch and box his dialogue then you can use the search bar under file to look for the lines in the mod then can right click to copy the .wav for 4 just load the butch.esp plugin copy the .wavs into your sound/Voice/Butch.esp/NPCMButch folder in Data
for lipsync: follow this closely https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20728/?
Did you manage to get it working in the end? If so, would you be willing to help me? I can't figure it out for the life of me. I've tried asking various modding forums and discord groups for help, and the only responses that I've gotten so far have been "I don't f with Lazy Voice Finder" and "Don't bother."
The only help I've gotten was from my older siblings who also don't know Fallout 4 modding and it's been fruitless.
Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you. :)
The voice and lip sync really should've just been included in the download. Getting the voice part to work, as someone who has no technological know-how with manual modding, has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. I'm still not done figuring it out (with help, mind you, and all the fixes and video tutorials we can find) and at this point I'm wondering if this is even worth all the trouble. If I can figure out how to republish this WITH the voice files included, I'll do it bc this has been a special circle of hell I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
(Yes, I recognize that this comment is very emotionally charged with my newbie frustration and lack of knowledge, but good god it's a tremendous pet peeve of mine for stuff to not be as simple as it should be and we've been trying to figure this out for HOURS. I know OP is deactivated, but JESUS man, if you're still out there and still make mods for this game, next time just include the voice files and lip sync because some of us have no idea what the hell we're doing.)
UPDATE 1 (9/1/23): After 4 hours of trying to get the voice and LS to work, nothing. Every solution has been met with even more problems such as outdated systems and downloadable fixes to said outdated systems (a lot of which are ALSO outdated. Yayyyyyy.) and we're going to continue to try tomorrow. It should not be like pulling teeth, and yet, here we are.
UPDATE 2 (9/13/23): Well, don't I feel silly. It's been explained to me that the most likely reason for the mod not being voiced is copyright concerns. I resent Bethesda for being so anal about it, but it is what it is, I guess. I've essentially resigned myself to having to make my own Butch mod from scratch, which I don't think I'm too entirely mad about; The face is a bit angular, the eyes are a different color than they are in Fallout 3, and I've been intrigued by the idea of making a follower mod for my Lone Wanderer anyway, so learning something new might be kind of fun! However, if someone has gotten it figured out and is willing to help me with this mod here, I would greatly appreciate it. [TL;DR: Installing the voice and lip sync is a massive pain if you're new to modding!]
(Also if anybody has managed to get the voice and lip sync working, can I get some help? Because I'm at a total loss lololol)

There's a Petro-Chico jumpsuit mod.
Probably adds some lore on how he migrate from the Capital Wasteland to the Commonwealth.
