Advanced Power Armor Mk.II (APA2), was an upgrade to the armor protection, but keeping everything the same. it was composed entirely of lightweight ceramic composites rather than the usual combination of metal and ceramic plates. By using lightweight composites in thicker layering its able to be tougher in most areas if only using the standard materials. without changing the actual thickness or bulk of the armor. its 5lbs heavier over all.
Accounting for lore edits by Bethesda this is -somewhat- correct. I'll give you my head cannons (T60) and original lore.
T-40 never heard of it can't find crap on it, so I'm under the belief it never existed. T-45d the first power armor utilized by the US military to an extent, as it wasn't worth heavy investment. Likely called the 45-d- because it has a BIG C- it was the fourth design attempt on the model, and was the most successful and worth while variant. T-49, this is not a cannon armor it was created by modders for use by the Shoddycast originally. The suit was later made into a public use mod because hell year this armor is nice. T-51b, pretty much same as T-45 in its production, however its design was superior to the T-45 I believe using some form of alloy with a polymer coating of some sort. T-60 (My personal choice to believe because screw that retcon!) The east coast Brotherhood created this model, or discovered a pre-war prototype that was far from finished, and finished it, managed to make a far superior armor to the T-51, which was easily produced by their force. This is why we see them roaming in huge amounts of the armor, makes sense being its as though the east coast BoS have two billion suits of this crap. X-00 no one calls it that last I checked, but it was actually full well developed by the Midwest, it was possibly the first postwar power armor, but I can't find anything confirming. X-01 was designed by the enclave, and technically is the APA and APA Mk.2 looking from original lore, as the APA Mk.2 was X-02 is technically the APA MK.2 in the new lore, however the X-02 is likely viewed by most today as a unique model of power armor developed by the Enclave after moving east. Wouldn't be surprised. X-03, you left it out, it is, officially, the ultimate power armor. The X-03 was developed by Enclave forces to essentially be the god of Power Armor, being the strongest and most durable suit available. Its just overall, the best, why aren't there more BoS in this stuff? Its legit the best armor in the entire series, and the cannon. I-01 I include this one because I like it, and the institute really should of developed something like this. to inflict heavy damage on hostiles by making it into a synth, or to protect the most valuable unit, the courser. Pretty much its a cool suit of power armor made by the institute and only appeared as concept art. It technically is not cannon, but I WILL IT TO BE CANNON! Ehem.. Sorry.. Its just a real disappointment it wasn't in the base game.
Junk master is a piece of crap because it forced me to restart my game because of the CTD when trying to go near goodneighbor. If someone was to improve on this mod then do it.
I really want someone to do this because of the fact that it would be lore related. Think if other Fallout 4 mods that involve the Enclave used this, it would be awesome. If someone is out there and can do this then do it and make sure that you give credit to GamerOC for being the one who made the idea.
Also I'm not trying to be rude but how do I make it to where it is in my game? I'm not familiar with manual downloads so if some one could help me please do.
