This is a fantastic "little details" mod. It's in my permanent must-have list since it came out.

    Looks nice.

I could always assume that RR might've started as a gas station & wound up selling coolant after cars changed, but this is much more consistent. Slick editing too!

Gee it's almost as if no one paid much attention to the previously established lore or any newly established lore and ended up making goofs like this during development of the game. Anyways will endorse when I can.

Personally, I feel 'lore' is highly over-rated, seeing as they contradict themselves with every new game. The only lore I follow is my own personal lore, which changes daily. Fallout NV had gas pumps but Fallout 4 has cooling stations, so unless the east coast runs on nuclear and the west coast runs on fossil fuels they are incompatible. Though most of the vehicles go up like a small nuke blast in both games when damaged enough.

Lore in pretty much every game with multiple entries is a giant mess. Games aren't like movies, so many artists are involved, and so many game mechanics and element are involved that can conflict with them, forcing everyone on the team to spend much, much longer doing the things they normally do just to make sure it's 100% lure accurate instead of ~90% lore accurate just isn't practical, especially given the exponential complications that arise with each new entry in the series.

It's hard to tell your artist team "it's great, but scrap it and do it again because obscure lore detail" especially when you are on a tight budget and deadline, as basically every game ever always is.. and importantly, the resulting game element is fine. It's not broken or insultingly inaccurate, it's not a My Little Pony flipping you the bird, (can they even do that?) to most people it looks fairly lore accurate. Is it worth something else that is the game not being made to fix this?

You should focus on the positive fact that we have a modding community that can devote their time and resources to fixing small issues like this for those that care enough to be bothered by it, then to poke fun at a team of hard working artists. The larger a game is the easier it is to find small inconsistencies. It's impossible to iron these out without spending more time then it takes to develop the game just to fix little quirks, it can't be helped.

Honestly, I've put 2,000 hours into this game and never even noticed this myself. Or even heard anyone bring it up. To the creator, thank you for pointing it out to me and making this mod.

Oh yea I agree wholeheartedly and I myself never noticed a lot of these smaller issues until mods like this came along. Even though I have quite a few issues with how Fallout 4 was developed I actually enjoy playing it more than Fallout 3 and NV. However I think it's cause Fallout 4 isn't as pushy when it comes to doing the main story line along with always feeling a bit more open world than the other 2 did. Seriously though I find myself coming back to 4 more than 3 and NV (& even Skyrim\SE) partly cause of the modding community and hugely cause the game tends to run more stable when it comes to heavy modding.

True, lore is mostly a non issue. My edition of Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings purports to correct hundreds of little inconsistencies accumulated by devoted fans. It becomes impossible to keep track of all the little details in a project of this size, none of which detract from the substance of the work. Right, leave tracking stuff like that down to the fans who care.
