Almost finished with my changes. I had no problem installing the blueprint. I did make changes to the upper deck as I am not that into manufacturing, so I turned it into minuteman weapon depot with Howitzers, ammo, shells and 2 Minutemen vertibirds. I also added an institute elevator to get up to almost the top. Not done yet as I need to find a good place for my singer. The only difficulty I had was the fact that the blueprint extends substantially beyond the borders (at least it did for me). I do have an extended border mod, but that was not enough. In creating a wall around the site (I felt that there were too many ways for bad guys to get in) it took me forever to set up the wall. I would have to create the wall pieces in the "green zone" then carry them to the red zone to put in place. That was the only way I could figure out to complete the wall. How did you build so much outside of the red zone?? Did you use a mod? I use place everywhere and another mod that presently escapes my mental grasp. Will submit pics when I am done. Thank you very much for your time, you saved me at least three days in building on this site.
With Version 1.2 I am having an issue with the Power Up - nothing is getting wired even though it goes through the entire Power Up with 2800+ items. I am using Transfer Settlements 1.58 and the newest version of F4SE etc... I redid the import twice and verified all the mods you expected to see were installed and working according to your blueprint so I am not sure if maybe Clean and Simple moved something again or what the issue is but having to manually connect over 2800+ wire connections is not going to be any fun, especially since I have yet to figure out the path for the wires.
I built it over a weekend....but I've been using the freeway as a base over several play-throughs. Once the settlement blueprint system became available I already had a fair idea of where to place the first blocks.... Then I just built from the top down. Thank you.
This looks fantastic! I've done a few things with Graygarden, trying to turn it into a massive greenhouse along the slope, but could never complete them as materials were always in short supply. The dream was to have sunlight going through the entire thing. What you did is just...wow! Beautiful!
That's some feat of engineering :), looking forward to trying it out. You wouldn't happen to know of any really good mods that add loads of new lights, I don't mean just colours and brightness I mean new shapes etc, getting a bit fed up of the same old lights in my buildings lol.
Thanks... Lighting is also an issue for me. I found that some of the lights I really liked messed with my frame rate. "Homemaker" (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1478) has some interesting lights but (at least in the early days of this mod) my rig couldn't cope...so I rarely if ever use their lights....campfire being an exception. "Settlement objects expansion pack" (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10075) also has some interesting lights that used to slow my system down....though In the last few builds I have started using some of their lights.... (in particular ceiling/floor sections with embedded lighting are a quick way to get a build up and working). I would check the changelogs of those authors as I tend to repeatedly use the stuff that has always worked for me.... I get on a roll and just want it done.

Both extend the borders somewhat.
