Not that I can recall. It's been awhile since I last worked on this collection. I ended up migrating away from Horizon after I got burnt out from patching it. The only requirements should be on the additional weapon mods which you need to purchase for caps and cigarettes. You are free to take a look and change things around if you like. Sorry for the late reply.
Stupid question but I'm a noobie: do i need to download these weapons individually and then patch with this file or are the weapons already included in this file?
Am I right thats it's not necessary to unpack Modular Simonov's ba2 like in your installation guide because it has no packed scripts? And sorry if my next question is a little bit dumb: What's that blueprint thing in your mod?
Hello, eytsch. Sorry for the late reply. You are correct. The Simonov PTRS-41 does not need to be unpacked because it contains no scripts. If you are using the advanced installation, the only thing you need to worry about is renaming the ba2 archives. The guide is just a generalization because I will be adding more weapons in the future. I am just taking a short break from it at the moment. I'll add a better description to the mod page some time this week.
The Blueprinting Module is basically responsible for decluttering the workbenches and providing alternative methods to acquire the weapons. It allows you to purchase blueprints and technical manuals through the Market Trading Terminal in Horizon. You can use the blueprints to unlock the crafting recipe for each of the weapons. The technical manuals are used to unlock additional weapon attachments that I have removed to reduce clutter. The additional attachments are/will be purely cosmetic. It got to be a bit much trying to balance the attachments that were nearly identical to start with. When you use a technical manual, you will unlock all of the additional attachments for the weapon and they will become visible at any Weapons Workbench.
If you have any other questions let me know.
Edit: Also, if you have used the Simonov PTRS-41 in the past you might notice that most of the colorized attachments are missing. I have removed them because having three identical attachments made the workbench feel cluttered. The different colored attachments are now added in as material swaps. Let me know if you feel that this limits the options too much. I am open to suggestions and feedback.
I updated the page description and added a notice to the installation section. Hopefully that clears a bit of the confusion up for you and others. I may just rewrite the entire installation section to be a bit more coherent.
Yes, any weapons that spawn on NPCs will have a randomized condition. Any that you purchase or craft will always be in good condition. The only exception would be the Anti-Materiel Rifle. It is not added to any leveled lists as it is a quest item.
Edit: If you notice something that isn't spawning correctly, let me know and I'll take a look.
Thanks for the reply. I will let you know If I notice anything. And thank you for the awesome work, So many Horizon patches for weapons simply add them to LL and that's about it. I attempted something like this but is was before I knew what I was doing and it simply didn't work. I may take a look at the Blueprint files you have provided. :)
