Thank you!!!! This is just what I was looking for. Now I do not have to do it myself.
I take that back. Large portion of items that are normally scrapable are no longer scrapable. Many building pieces and furniture cannot be scrapped. Vehicles that cannot be removed. Debris and trash that cannot be removed. Cannot do anything with the buildings around the diner. Dead bodies that cannot be removed.
A shame that you deleted the un-enterable buildings, the fun part of building in Fallout 4 is to use what is already there even those buildings, for me it's a deal breaker but still the mod looks good, keep up the good work.
I always disliked how convoluted and hard to build/plant in JP was. Even Sim Settlements has a problem with it. Your mod is perfect for my style of settlement building. I use a simple shack mod and raider walls mod. Plop down some large shacks (different from vanilla) and they block passage under or through them. Put in strategic areas, plus raider walls, I can force enemy raids to follow a predictable path. So they run into my killer robot guards, my Mk 7 turrets, and drones. Where ever I have my settlers sleep and harvest, there I put MK.22 powered heavy turrets. Nothing gets into JP settlement.
I don't build all the way to the edges. I put wood foundation blocks spaced around the perimeter and put MK 7 turrets on them, raised 6 feet off the ground. So rings within rings, channeled down a kill path.
I was surprised of how much you deleted. I like the clutter and stuff, but now it looks so boring. I think it's better to not delete anything and let the player scrap what they want. I also like to repair, restore and rebuild existing building and I find that more immersive.
While I love this mod, there are some things I don't like:
1. The corpses of the gunners and Raiders that give background on the area as well as items needed for getting into the Treasure vault are gone.
2. Items inside of the church either clip through the floor, or float in the air.
3. There are a lot of unscrappable items, making turning Jamaica Plains into a full fledged town nearly impossible as they can't be deleted even with Scrap Everything.
hey, thanks for your feedback. corpses are indeed deleted as i do not know yet how you can delete corpses items/objects after you enable the workshop like what happens if you enable the workshop at the castle. you should be able to play the quest by not enabling the mod. ill recheck the church. i didnt have any problems with this myself if you can give me some examples than i might now which items you mean.
Pretty much every item not in the base-game building area for Jamaica Plains is unable to be scrapped, even when using Scrap Everything some items need to be disabled via console commands.
This is the closest I could find to what I'm looking for... and while I understand why some might find it nice to have all the non-enterable stuff "cleaned up" to me it removes a lot of the character of the location.
Is there any chance you could be persuaded to upload a version with simple expanded borders and nav-mesh fixes but with all the ruined buildings and buses, etc in tact? Pretty please with nuka-cola cherry on top? ;D

Looks like I will be getting on creation kit.

I haven't got a clue how to do that.
