About this mod
Bullets are bullets. Beams are beams.
Just because the receiver mechanism is automatic rather than semi-automatic does not mean that the bullet/beam will "automagically" do only 3/4 of normal damage. Neither will the clip capacity "automagically" be reduced. This alters that behavior.

If the bullet/beam is the same, if the barrel is the same - then the damage is the same. (Technically for lasers and plasma weapons, the barrel is different. It's just capable of automatic fire. For the sake of consistency, I figure that technology from 2077 is advanced enough to allow automatic variants of laser/plasma beams to retain the same damage per shot.)
What this mod does:
* damage reductions for automatic weapons are removed
* ammo clip reductions for automatic weapons are removed
* range reductions for automatic weapons are removed
* changes for DLC weapons
* increases the base damage of the Submachine Gun
This is still a WIP - if I've missed any base game weapons please let me know.
Note: Designed with my Commando - Heavy Gunner - Rifleman Rebalance mod in mind.

Version 2.1:
Changed the damage of the Submachine Gun to somewhere between the Pipe Revolver Pistol and Combat Rifle because WTF Bethesda?!
Vanilla .45 caliber weapons:
24 damage - Pipe Gun Revolver
13 damage - Submachine Gun (???)
33 damage - Combat Rifle
Rebalanced .45 caliber weapons:
24 damage - Pipe Gun Revolver
30 damage - Submachine Gun (way more like it)
33 damage - Combat Rifle
Also changed it to one file, an ESL-tagged ESP.
Version 2.0:
Far Harbour and Nuka World DLC added. (The only player automatic weapon in the Automatron DLC is the Tesla Rifle, which doesn't seem to have any clip/damage/range nerfs.)
Bots are not affected. (They also don't seem to have any clip/damage/range nerfs.)
Version 1.2:
Removed all range restrictions for automatic weapons.
Version 1.1:
Fix to overdamage mistake I'd made with assault rifles, institute lasers, lasers, and plasma weapons.
Update:
ESL-tagged file for the damage/ammo affecting version is up.
