Fantastic mod! Unfortunately, I notice a massive performance drop around the outside, going from 60 to 42 fps. I'm not sure what could be causing this, if it's somehow breaking precombines or there is an excess of geometry, but it's a pretty significant con in case anyone is considering it. Otherwise, though, I love it! Detailed, but not cluttered, and full of life and love.
Update: I'm 90% sure it's from the 4-5 shadow casting point lights on the exterior of the trailer, if anyone is interested in trying to fix it.
Update 2: I am 100% sure. I have gotten around the issue by decreasing my shadow map resolution. It's not my favorite solution, but it works.
Really love the exterior, and the way you plop it down anywhere(and its method of delivery) are fantastic. I DO have two criticisms however. 1: No navmesh for companions or other NPCs. 2: Interior lighting is too bright and washes out much of the textures inside(could be just on my end). I just wish someone would pick up this idea and run with it to spruce it up a bit. And yes, this is a pitiful and idiotic non-modder post about an innovative, fully functional, and inspiring mod.
Can the Magazine be obtained using the help function in console? I believe I may have.... scrapped.. the mailboxes in my Sanctuary settlement. Bit of a hiccup aspect of the mod, having the magazine placed in a destructible container.
I'm a year late, but the mailbox is added by the mod and is un scrappable. At least as far as vanilla scrapping capabilities. If anything reinstalling the mod should fix it.
Really like the mod -- although getting it placed was a bit of a pain. My first location choices were in the hills, and I guess the magazine was falling down the hill or through the ground plane - often times it would end up upside-down (which didn't work). I eventually tried setting it up on the overpass just east of Grey Garden (where the lift to access the power armor that is there). It took a few tries, but I got it to set up in the center over the rail, and it worked wonderfully. It has a great view, and is in a fairly quiet area. There is one thing -- it would be nice if the work benches were linked - at least the Armor, Power armor, and weapon benches as they use much of the same materials. But really -- great work.
I really like this player home. But for some reason when I sleep in the bed I never get the Well Rested buff. Like the bed is not owned by me or something. I have my own fix for the save thumbnail. I do a quicksave right when I get in the trailer and use the save feature from the trailer before I leave. It copies the quicksave thumbnail and the quicksave later gets overwritten anyways. I can't figure out what the television is supposed to do tho. Still endorsed.
I set this up in Cordless vii's national park and it's just beautiful looking out over his waterfall. Idyllic, away from all the fuss and bother of apocalypse living. Wonderful player home. Fast travel marker shows up, all the workshops work, Dogmeat stays in his house. Love it. Endorsed!
This is an awesome mod there should be more like this. Its so simple to use not complicated like some other mods Love it would like to see more like this.
I can't get this to place on the actual ground, it just sits at a really extreme angle or is just in the air. I also can't get it to move, and I also cannot see the magazine when I drop it so I have no way to actually confirm my placement. Please help I really wanna use this mod.
