For anyone having trouble downloading/installing this like me, I suggest downloading the mod of choice manually instead of installing in on whatever mod manager you use. Once you finished downloading there will b a DATA FOLDER in the mod, what you need to do is add it to your Fallout 4 directory. Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Fallout 4. A message will pop up saying if you want to replace the folder with the one you're adding say yes. It will change the menu and also change the music. If you don't want this mod anymore just verify your game files. I did this on my own and it worked like a charm and recommend it to anyone thinking about getting this mod. Probably hands down my new favorite menu replacers out there and will continue to use this for now on.
One other way other than verifying the game again, since that takes a long time, would be to just make a spare copy of the DATA folder, name it somefin like "DATA 1" and then the "DATA" folder to be edited and done with as wanted. And when you want to delete it just delete the "DATA" folder and rename "DATA 1" to "DATA" But thank you for the explanation! I wanted to give that myself but words aren't my strong suite!
sadly no, when i first got the video, the quality was stellar but when i converted it to the required format, it was ... crushed, to say the least. ill work on getting a better version out as soon as i know /how/ to
That's actually the one I'm currently working on. Getting those videos to a higher quality (including the re-rendering and formatting) takes about 30 minutes. Feel free to go ahead and check VAPOR.wav in that time, it should be up by then!
Alright, I went ahead and updated VAPOR.wav aswell as waited for the file to be fully uploaded to NEXUS! You can go ahead and download/update at your own leisure!
Finally, I love logging into FO4. Thank you. This music is awesome and the visuals aint bad neither. One request or suggestion (don't know if possible but have tried other intro replacers that did it) can you extend the music into the load screens. Once I hit continue and the default text and images for game loading start, the music stops. I would very much like to enjoy the music until I have control of my character and am fully loaded into the game. ...Or, or... A radio station with this music on it. Don't worry if you are not interested in doing anything more with this, you are already my hero. ;)
I actually started working on a radio station with various dubstep and vaporwave/synthwave songs in it. Maybe I'll look into splitting it into 2 stations, who knows As for the loading part, if I do find a way, I'll most definitely do it!
Reminiscent of Battle Zone though the polygon landscape is also even more reiminiscent of the ancient 1980's coin op battlezone here are some of the later game's. https://youtu.be/QFmW6e-N288 https://youtu.be/YYAhW3SHi_w The 1998 battlezone is still very playable today though graphic's wise it is dated it still has a great plot and story.
