Oh my! One of my favorite aircraft...this is just beautiful. Now Boston needs its own Rivet City sitting in the Charles River. Thanks for sharing your amazing work!
I've seen pre-production art that shows a giant aircraft carrier and other huge ships sitting in the river, so it does seem to have been in the minds of the designers. But I doubt the game could handle anything else that big added to downtown.
I used the models in my own mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/43393, with proper credits given of course. So much nostalgia... Amazing work, thanks for this!
Edit: This looks amazing next to the Stingray's weird design!
Thank you so much for making this beautiful plane mod for Fallout 4. This plane has always had a place in my heart as it was the first fighter jet I saw as a child and they were assigned to my Air Guards unit till they were phased out and replaced with Phantom II's which got replaced by Eagles then to the Raptor currently. I plan to build a airfield for these beautiful planes of yours. Again a big thank you for sharing this beauty and for bringing a happy memory back for me.
I realize these can't fly, but it seems like Place everywhere would let you stage some of these up in the air like an attack run. You then get behind them and fire the Fatman, could make some interesting videos. I also wonder about using tcl while in build mode to create the illusion that you're flying. This is going on my tracking list for now.
Wow, this is great! I started working on the New Vegas B-29, but i never managed to import it successfully. I was just able to import the warheads from the divide, but without collision.
I stopped playing fallout 4, but when i return, this plane will get its own hangar on my spectacle island airport.
Yeah, i tried to find a trial version of 3DMax 2013, but as a total newbie in 3d modelling, i was already overwhelmed with basic functions of blender, so i focused on other "quick wins" I never managed to get rid of the old material information connected to the nif files of the B-29, if i remember right. It was only one piece, the tail i think, which caused problems. Man, i really wanted that plane so hard, even without collision.
For what it's worth, you just need to add a BSLightingShaderProperty to the BSTriShape and write your .BGSM material path in the "Name" field. Then it should work.
