causing lots of lag and actually causing my game to stop responding during autosave to the point where I have to end task with task manager and sometimes out right hit the pc's reset button
I apologize in advance if I misunderstand how the script works, but to me it almost seems like the save delay does not cancel other saves from being queued. For example, if combat ends and a save is delayed by 10 seconds, the script will allow more saves to be queued up during that 10 seconds, which can lead to a bit of a stutter as the game will make 2-3 autosaves depending on how quickly combat began/ended. I'm not sure if this is something that can be fixed easily, but I just wasn't sure if it was intended or not.
TL;DR: Is it possible to make the out of combat save a cooldown instead of only a delay?

Can you make it so it doesn't say "Autosaving"? Just so you dont know if combat is over or not, more immersive :-)
Edit: having used this for many hours, I would really love if you added a delay timer. Sometimes it really saves 5 times in under a minute.
Very late reply, but i have added a delay and a combat recheck to saving.
