    I've been looking into how to attach the light properly, and it appears that the "proper" beam uses an Add-on Node. As far as I can tell, it requires mesh editing to attach properly, and although I have loaded the mesh file into NifSkope, I am unsure how to properly edit the mesh so as to have this happen.

    Can NPC turn on the light themselves with this mod? I hate to see every NPC with mining helmet.

    Using this causes the leather piece at the back of the head/neck to disappear, very jarring.

      Same here, gave up on using the mod. It makes my character look like she has an odd shaped bowl on her head.

      This issue should have been repaired as of Version 0.4, actually. I believe the issue was a dirty edit to the biped slot flags.

      --I have this issue and I'm not using this mod, just yet. Havent tested the reason really. Might be the mod that allows multi armor layers on any outfit. Not sure what else edited my gear loadout functions.

      I did not encounter this issue in my testing, so I would conclude that it is either a bug with another installed mod, or an engine hiccup that occurs when modifying the helmet. That said, the compatibility version for Endormoon's "Craftable Custom Combat Armor", which, according to reports in its comments, also experiences this issue, carries forward its fixes. This is the recommended version, by the way.

      I have not had this issue since I updated, the helmets look normal.

      Yeah I've been using this mod but wanted to expand all armor functionality so I'm installing Armor Keywords Community Resource (AKCR) and Armorsmith Extended
      It would be awesome if Combat Helmet Tweaks was made to be compatible.

    Could this work with the Destroyer's Helmet ? (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Destroyer's_helmet) It's not currently working for me, though mining helmet is fine.

      The Destroyer's Helmet works fine.

      If it's not working for you, none of the combat helmets are working for you. It's just a normal Combat Helmet re-named and with a legendary effect.

      You've done something wrong.

      You're right. Mining and other helmets work, but not my Destroyers. Weird. Trying to track down what mod might make it not work.

      EDIT: Using only the Lamp Only mod makes it work. shrug.

    it seems i havent availible choice to mod light type i know it is buggy but it isnt there maybe is it because of new update for custom combat armors

      I did change how the combat helmet works in my mod so the comp patch probably needs to be updated for this one.

    The "medical goggles" also have a light attached, but no headlamp activation, like the combat helmet. Could you add a light to the medical goggles too?

    Hi, I hope you can help. I am trying to figure out the load order, or mistake I am making when combining your mod with Custom Combat armor by Endormoon, and craftable armor size by johndoebowler. Before updates to some of the mods and my use of NMM, I was able to change the armor size for your helmet, now that is not the case. when I craft your helmet it does give me the other types but I can not edit it on the armor bench like the rest of the combat armor peaces.

    I've enountered something wierd, after playing for a few days with this mod installed, no idea when or where it happened. But, in the materials section of my combat helmet mods, it shows 2 of everything. For example, I show one Polymer Combat Helmet mod that has 34 DR and ER, requiring rank 2 of armorer, and another Polymer Combat Helmet Mod, that has 37 DR and ER, requiring Armorer rank 4.

      Ah, I think I know what happened there. One of those is the Polymer Combat *Torso* mod. That is a significant issue, so I'll see what I can do.
