make sure the individual folders (1,2,3, etc.) are in the blueprints folder and not the settlement folder (the folder that contains the individual folders).
hm this blueprint thing seems much less prone to buggs or to bloat my safe, than sim settlements heavy scripts running in backround right? The mod needed for this works only on demand?? I mean those scripts run only when im importing/exporting settlements right? after that i can theoreticaly even uninstal the blueprint mod? Thanks
I think it can be a good time to give you my thoughts about the settlements I've used so far (so new post for that) - Zimonja : not very good looking, but effective. I know it's a hard place to build (small, attack point on the fast travel, not a lot of things to scrap, etc.) so it's OK - Starlight : Beautiful and effective, can be a good "main base" for anyone. - Tenpines : I like the way you put metal house, - Finch : Nice, had some bugs the first time but it was my fault, as I retry and it worked nicely. - Red Rocket : pretty nice, but scrapall command also affect Sanctuary (may be a personnal bug) - Sunshine : Highly defensive. It's a bit sad that you didn't use the provided houses but I can live with. ^^ - Castle : More like a small town (I know it's intended), waiting for the "bed fix". - Hangman : DON'T scrapall !! I think you forgot to check the "export original items" - Greentop : Don't scrapall !! (it will remove the crops and does not re-import them) I really love the decorations inside the main house.
Overall impression : Very nice settlements blueprints for those, like me, who don't like to "waste" 10h to build somewhere you will almost never go again. All of them are very effective (enough beds, crops, water and defense) to cover all the basic needs, some have shops, some don't but makng money in fallout is very easy so it's not a problem. Most of them have working stations, some don't (but I use The Mechanist Lair as my main base, so it's not a problem) Some are really beautiful and feel "unique" (Starligh, Greentop, Castle) and that a very good thing. On top of that, most blueprints use between 200 and 300 items, so importing them (with "rapid' preset) is very fast and gives enough room to add your own things/decorations/etc.
So for now, I would only say : Omega Good Job \o/ Definetely worth the download.
PS : You really like water pumps, right ? xD Sorry, I forgot the powered version was in a DLC
And for the other : - Warwick : I don't really like the turret line you put outside, but there is more ... strange. By using scrapall in warwick, It destroyed some things in the shipwreck nearby and I found the agility bobblehead in warwick's workshop ^^ - Oberland : Very nice but missing water (there is only 3 units) - Graygarden : Moving one water pump to have room to place down a robot workbench and this is perfect. - Jamaica : Not much to say - Nodhagen : Same here - Taffington : Pretty nice - Sanctuary : Scrapall doesn't affect Red Rocket and the settlement is very nice. - Abernathy : Could be one of my fav if the main house was used - Slog : Don't scrapall if you want to keep the fences. - Crossing : Simple - Costal Cottage : Like zimonja, it's a tricky place to build, so it's fine. =)
I think I haven't missed any. Had a few bugs (missing water in Oberland, beds in Castle, etc.) but nothing hard to fix.
Actually I think I'm gonna use Starlight, Tenpines, Zimonja, Costal Cottage, Finch Farm, Taffington, Graygarden and Oberland (with a few modifications of my own, like gathering all generators into one fusion, same for powered water purifiers) but the base structures, the houses and most of the layout remains yours.
Thanks again, I know it's a real challenge to make something good using only vanilla (no-dlc) assets, but you did it. Really Good Job ! o/
File cannot be opened with 7Zip =/ I'm having a error message saying "This file cannot be open as an archive" (or something like that, sorry i'm not english ^^")
Ok finally manage to give a try (used the "extract here" command from 7zip) and ..... Well I was looking for a simple but effective blueprints for some settlements. My first try was on Zimonja (IMO one of the worst place to build) and your version may not be very good looking BUT exactly what I needed about effectiveness, as I don't care about the looks for some places likes Zimonja or Coastal Cottage (?) and it's still better looking than my habit of building "big-square-house-with-turrets-on-the-roof"
tl;dr : You got my vote, endorsement and gratitude =)
Edit : Using the scrapall command may break some things when using a scrap mod. I don't use any but have already notice some bugs : Finch farm : using scrapall remove the workbench and no power lines are imported (may be due to the workbench gone) Red Rocket : using scrapall remove some things in sanctuary, too (haven't look a lot around, at least my crops were missing) I'm going to try every settlements you've made to give you a full view.
Many thanks for the feedback and report. And by missing workbench do u mean weapon, armor, etc workbench, or the red one? If I'm not mistaken it's called workshop, and it's weird that things goes missing when using scrapall. And yes, when using scrapall command, all things, including ur crop will be scraped. Other alternative is using nuke settlement function, but I'm afraid that it'll have overlapping issues. I'll try to look at the settlements that u have mention above. Again, thanks for endorsement.
You're right, scrapall command in Finch Farm does not only disable but Mark For Delete the workshop but it may be due to me having more than 180 mods (but no scrap mod). I know for sure scrapall is affected by scrap mods, I think you should put a warning ;) Plus, it seems that scrapall in Red Rocket affect Sanctuary (I don't know if Sanctuary affect RR).
While I'm here, don't take in account what I said about how it looks earlier. While Zimonja and Tenpines are so-so, some other are very nice (Starlight Drive-in is really great !). I haven't already try all the 19 blueprints, but I'm gonna ask you to do the missing vanilla ones ^_^
Thanks, I'll try to add it in the description section. In that case, u may use nuke the settlement with all linked to settlements function in Transfer Settlement and if there is any overlapping issues, I'm sorry for extra burden, but u nid to scrap it urself. The Castle is coming soon, but it will look more like village in the castle.
Castle is very nice but have some bugs. First, 2 ESL are required so I think some beds aren't imported (only have 5 beds after import) http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2018/49/4/1544090957-screenshot39.png
Sure. Here are the only 5 beds that were imported, all other are missing http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2018/49/5/1544140723-screenshot40.png http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2018/49/5/1544140729-screenshot41.png http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2018/49/5/1544140733-screenshot42.png
