    Just a heads up that if you use wrye bash 312.1 it produces this error but if you use wrye bash 309.1 it's fine

    I love it! Excellent work on this! It makes the combat rifle more viable, and actually fun to use! Which is nice, because otherwise I generally have no use for vanilla weapons, what with all the great weapon mods on the nexus. I'd really love to see a version of this mod for the combat shotgun, as well!

    Will this have conflicts with Weapon mods extended? Because I'd love to use both of these mods to improve my combat rifles.

    Welp, I've tried for two days now to fix the conflicts amongst my mods- sadly, the simple truth is that it's not compatible with my necessary mods. It would be if I could make it so that it only includes the mods for the vanilla ranks of Gun Nut, but I just don't have the skill. I've never watched any tutorials, and while I managed to fix some problems, others only became more problematic.

    Thus, I have come to you on my hands and knees; I beg you to release a version that doesn't require Gun Nut 5- I don't care if the mod parts for the Gun Nut 5 perk aren't there, I'd still be getting more variety. I've tried and tried and tried and I can't do it myself yet. Your mod was the first that actually made me want to get hands-on. I just don't have the skill.

    So please, if you're ever bored out of your mind and think about this comment, it'd mean the world to me to have a version that works with the vanilla perks. If not, then beggars can't be choosers, and clearly I am begging.

    Either way, I tested the mod combo out by itself and you did a mighty fine job of it. No glitches on it's own. Thus, even if I can't use it, you've been endorsed. :3

    Great idea but could you possibly make a lite version with less of the mods added, because I don't want to have THAT many options and don't want to make it OP either lol Like 3 alt version with different caliber options instead of all of them in one

      I second this, all I really want is an automatic .38 receiver so all that ammo acquired early on isn't just sitting in my inventory (lower damage than standard auto, higher damage than an auto pipe weapon). In my opinion, it's really weird that there was no vanilla automatic option for the .38 to go with the semi-auto.

    hey. so the mod isnt working for me anymore after the last update that sorta broke some mods. when i pull out my rifle it is in invisible. what do? :/

      Having similar issues. Once I equip one of the weapon mods from this mod, it causes all my options, save for Receiver and Legendary Mod (From the Legendary mods... mod...) as being changeable. Whats more, the rifle then becomes invisible.
      Not certain as to the cause, but it certainly wrecks the experience. However, once this is rectified, I can say this mod will definitely receive an endorsement from myself.

      Basically the update is causing the mod to not load. I am getting it to work launching from the nexus mod manager, but there are several different ways. Here is a thread discussing different methods: https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3vswbq/new_fallout_4_patch_requires_workaround_to_use/

      Thats not the reason at all, actually. THe mod loads, the game is running fully modded. However when in game, I add one of the mods that implemented to work with the combat rifle by THIS mod, and it causes issues such as mods not appearing, or the weapon vanishing. Uninstalling this mod, the weapon reappears, so it is indeed NOT the update, as that has been fixed already.

    I love the mod, but I do have one complaint, I'm afraid.

    Specifically, why do all the .308 auto-receivers have a higher per-shot damage than the single fire receivers? It would be nice if I could make a DMR type weapon, but as it stands, with this mod that doesn't make much sense... which doesn't make much sense.

    Thanks for all the hard work, whining not withstanding.

      I updated the mod with more specific descriptions with numerical values for comparison. All of the semi-auto .308 receivers do more per shot damage than any other combat rifle receiver in this mod. Yes the automatic .308 receivers do more per shot damage than almost all other receivers using a different ammo type, but at the cost of higher value ammo, smaller magazine size, and slower fully automatic fire rate compared to the other automatic receivers.

      yeah i love this mod too, but i feel as tho the "powerful 5.56mm receiver" has no 'benefit' over the "advanced .308 Receiver" for semi-auto mods maybe you could make it lighter than the .308 with better rate of fire and accuracy whereas the .308 better per shot damage and range and slightly heavier?

      oh and what about an advanced short stock, is that in the works?

    If there's anything I'm hoping for, if it's even possible without the GECK/CK, is for the combat rifle to have a unique model that makes it look like a battle rifle like the M16, or the service rifle from NV.

    love this mod, great job! now i know this is just a personal preference, but is there any way you can make a "medium" sized barrel with all the cool specs. I feel that the long barrel is just looks way too long. thanks.

      I think it would be cool to have a set of medium barrels that stat wise were between the long and the short, but visually I do not know of any 3d meshes to use for them in game or made by anyone yet. Maybe in the future.
