Love the idea of the mod to rank all my minutemen's.. However, I seem to have the same problem as TFE71. I've tried all the colors (black, green and blue) AND created them at the cooking station. BUT, they all turn up black and blank. It's a damn shame, cause I was really looking forward to make them soldiers aaaall so pretty! Please find the time to fix this, so I (we) can continue our vision ;)
EDIT: Figured out what was the problem after checking and retesting every hat mod I have. Which is just a few. It seems that if you have the mod STRAC Hats (see link), this will f**k up this mod and every other mod with a beret, turning them all in to boring black berets with no emblem. So that s#*! took the high road out of my mod folder. Now I can enjoy this and my other berets like the special little beret retard I am <3

Huh. He must change something about the texture path by actually modifying the beret mesh to point to a different path so anyone who makes their material file based on the base game beret mesh is screwed once those meshes are added.
I wonder why it was done that way. Thanks for finding that
This mod does not work ! It misses the ranks (stars, barrettes ...) on the berets / caps ! The textures are not applied, not even the colors. (I installed the files correctly in the Data folder.)
Are you creating the actual hats at the stove? or just looking at the in game Military cap? This doesn't change anything with the in game cap. It adds stand alone caps you have to create at a cooking station. If you didn't have the Textures/symbols you would have bright pink berets.
Not necessarily Bethesda lore accurate. But kokoda39 expanded on the rank emblems, allowing for more variance. It looks like they are more than willing to grant usage permission as well. Anything you can make would be greatly appreciated.
The gear is the Officer gear from Fatigues Extended. The top uses whatever texture you have for Army Fatigues and the pants what ever texture you have on the Submarine uniform. I made my own Army fatigues mashing up Olive pants and Tan top from fatigues from the Commonwealth Surplus mod then added a MM symbol to the chest.
Note: The fatigues extended mod also comes with a Special Forces uniform that uses what ever texture you have on your Military fatigues for the top .
It's very east to edit the Minutemen outfits in the CK to change them to use the uniforms from Fatigues extended. Hell if I had permission I'd release a MM overhaul that did exactly that... Well that and there is like 800 other MM mods out there already. But if you wanted to do t yourself. there is only a few outfits you need to change. Just be sure you so something with the leather armor too since it doesn't really work with the uniforms. Personally I just ditched the leather armor and put a bit of armor stats on the fatigues to make up for it.

Any chance you could add some additional colors to the beret, such as red for that 1st Recon sorta look?

What is the uniform/bandoliers in your screenshot? Looks great with the berets.
