Great mod, I gave it an endorsement, baffling that bethesda didn't have the normal vault doors with their buttons and auto closing features to begin with. Hell even the doors in the entrance of Vault 88 work like that! The vault tec DLC as a whole feels really lazy and half baked, I suppose by that point they were probably throwing all their resources at Fallout 76...lot of bad calls there btw.
Also by the way the "English" version seems to have German descriptions in game anyway! I double checked and I definitely have the English version installed but all the workshop descriptions and the prompts that come up when you look at the door are all in German!
I love this Mod especially the automatic door, but i found one thing,The door will close after 20 seconds,it is too long.Maybe you can shorten the time, like 5 sec or 10 sec? Sorry about my English ,English is not my native language.I just used Google Translate. And thank you.
This is great, unfortunately the switches are not animated like the vanilla ones. Is it possible to animate them? I have never used nifskope, but I know a lot about modding. The vanilla ones are actually part of the vault door mesh, which is different than the one available to build in the DLC. You can't simply switch them though because the buildable DLC ones have doors that disappear into the frame as it opens, but the vanilla ones do not. Is there a reason why it wouldn't be possible to animate the override switches without having the original, non-dlc doors, does anyone know?
Love this! i hated that the vault-tec doors dont close on thier own and were missing the switches, i did notice however that the switches have no animation when activated, which is a bummer and takes from the immersion a little, otherwise i give this 9/10.
