Changelogs
Version 1.4
Wiped Antibiotics' and suppressants' leveled lists. This should get them to stop spawning (once cells reset).
Version 1.3
Set antibiotic, herbal suppressant, and disease forms to ignored so they shouldn't appear at all (should fix instances where the player would sometimes find medicine in containers that haven't reset yet).
Fixed a couple loading screen hints that mentioned fatigue and antibiotics.
Version 1.2
Undid changes done in Version 1.1 as the "bug" I thought this mod had was actually a conflict on my end. All diseases now have a magnitude of 0 again as an extra precaution to make sure the game doesn't apply disease effects to you at all.
Edited loading screen tip about radition treatments to remove mention of Suppressed Immunity.
Edited a couple popup messages about radiation treatments to remove mention of Suppressed Immunity.
Edited RadAway description to remove mention of Suppressed Immunity (as it turns out, I actually *can* edit the description on RadAway without editing the RadAway form directly, so I removed the mention of Suppressed Immunity).
Cleaned up code a bit, set the "chance none" value to 100 on the entire form for Antibiotics and Suppressants instead of each entry individually, as well as removed a form that already had its "chance none" value set to 100 by default since it's the same as the aforementioned change to the other forms.
Version 1.1
Restored magnitude entries to default values to (hopefully) fix some cases where the player could still get Insomnia from sleeping too long.
If you'd prefer to have more options/control over the duration of diseases instead of getting rid of them completely, try Survival Disease Immunity.
This mod expands upon that mod a little further and removes items like Antibiotics and herbal suppressors from leveled lists and vendors since they're made obsolete by this mod (you can still craft them, however, but like I said you don't really need them so they're ultimately useless).
This is a mod I made for myself after realizing how poorly integrated diseases are in Survival. They're as easy to get as they are to cure, especially when you acquire the ability to craft Antibiotics yourself (made with such common items, nonetheless). Get an infection from getting scratched by a ghoul? Just pop an Antibiotic in there and it's gone. Lethargy? Antibiotic. Parasites? Antibiotic. Super Cancer? Antibiotic.
This mod doesn't aim to improve this system at all, rather offers an alternative for people who just want a simple Survival experience where you must frequently tend to your primary needs without getting an arbitrary debuff every couple of minutes.
Additionally, there's 2 things this mod doesn't make you immune to: Vault 81's Molerat Disease (there's already plenty of mods for that), and the Dark Craving addiction you get from eating corpses with the Cannibal perk (which could not be cured by Antibiotics). This mod also suppresses any messages related to acquiring these diseases, so it's like they were never there at all.
