    So just trying it out and at first it's pretty good.  The 'Busy Bees' are adorable.  I used NMM and had no problems.  User comments will give you more of a description.  Not enough however, so I'll add to it;
These little settlements are aligned with the BoS.  There are large swatches of land along some rivers covered in sunflowers.  They are protected by a whole lot of turrets that are aligned to BoS.  So if you happen to be enemies with the BoS (like me) and wander into one of these patches of sunflowers, you are likely to have a very bad day.
Yes, there is a way to reprogram them, however the options are hard to follow.  You may have to try a few times to get the desired effect as the author, though made a very lovely mod, did not spell check, or grammar check and instructions are kind of vague.  I'm a bit dyslexic though, so it may come easier to follow for others.
That's just a heads up.  It's a sweet mod and I'm endorsing it even though the BoS is already harassing me and the Prydwyn hasn't even arrived yet.

Since multiple people had asked, I figured I'd give a quick description. Unless I missed something, this mod does in fact let you plant and grow sunflowers. It adds 3 settlements to the lower parts of the map, one of which is SUPER tiny (Maybe 400sq ft total). Pretty quick and simple quest line. I personally enjoy the sunflowers a lot, however, with my build, I cant afford the edits to that part of the map. But, I would still give the mod a 7.5 out of 10. Good stuff.

Now if only there was a syringer round that shot these seeds into enemies, so they can sprout them upon death, like the bloat fly larva.

    Whoops I said too much...

Either way, unfortunately the nuclear pandora's box is already open IMHO, and the only countries that will truly and honestly honor a nuclear disarmament agreement will be the "good guys" while the "bad guys" secretly stockpile them, to use later with zero threat of retaliation. Imagine a communist ruled world where oppressing nations get nuked into the stone age. Imagine a nuclear nazi Germany. This never ends well. I'd rather live in the Fallout world to be honest.

Mutually assured destruction at least deters rational enemies. It doesn't however deter madmen or miscalculations. At least the madmen or dictators would be destroyed too, instead of being left alive to rule the world.

But it's a nice thought to try to prevent nuclear destruction, I totally understand that, I just don't think it's possible. Humans, by nature, are often dishonest and greedy. We would have to unlearn nuclear physics, and then what should we do when a huge asteroid comes. I'm very open minded to the concept, I just don't think that it's practical or possible. Human nature and culture has to evolve to keep up with technology, otherwise we will use it to destroy each other endlessly, and more efficiently.

Please take no offense to my comment, none was meant. I understand if you disagree, that was just my two cents.

I do admire your optimism and desire to protect humanity.

The Xbox Mod menu gives u a description surprised the PC version doesnt tho when I put Cambridge Peace planters in Nexus search nothing comes up, says it doesnt exist, so maybe thats why PC gamers arenât seeing a description.

Anyways basically you get 3 sites 1 is quite tiny tho..a challenge to build...mostly u will have to lay concrete and build on the water.

Im not going to give all the details away but basically you can plant helianthus in every settlement...to absorb rads (modder wrote that in real life sunflowers absorb radio activity through their stalks - didnt know that!) I dont know if they absorb rads in the game but I place them all around my water sources and crops. Theyve used a corn in the food menu to represent the sunflower and if they are destroyed and need repaired you will see a corn on the floor.

They are beautiful and bright...maybe a bit too bright...in Graphic Design terms....they look more RGB than the duller CMYK type colors in the main game...so they do look a wee bit out of place but you can pretty up an area.

They always face the same direction they always plant facing away from you so u have to turn them to face you.

You can assign people to them, harvest the seeds and replant just like other crops. If they are unassigned u wonât get seeds. I dont think they count as good either but havent really checked to see if it knocks the food counter up.

I find the turret setting descriptions are poorly described.

Theres a tiny bit of back story involving too factions...I mainly got this for the colourful crop and to gain extra settlements.

It doesnt interfere with my other mods but for some reason I can recruit or move settlers to the settlements...have no idea why. I came to this forum to try find out why but cant find any info on that. Its a bit annoying...I would remove the mod to free up space but I like the sunflowers.

This mod was based on the real life Missouri Peace Planters project.

    Edit: apostrophes coming up weird.

Anyone used it and happy to give a description?

No probs downloading it on Xbox One here not clashing with other mods either but after spending time building settlements in the 3 areas no settlers would come to inhabit and I canât move anyone to them.

Also the computer options for the turrets are too vague.. poorly described options...love the sunflowers tho.

Love the idea of this mod. Manual-download worked fine for me, and I have reached the second field the quest sends you to, but I am having trouble working out what I need to do here. If nothing else, it adds a bit of brightness in the Commonwealth, and I don't plan on uninstalling this mod even if I go no further with the story line.

Why can't I download the mod? I keep getting an error message showing on another page saying in code, "Access Denied".

I think this picture is made in Photoshop. There is no boot file.

The author did not visit the page for 14 days. It is hard to believe that this file works. I think this picture is made in Photoshop.
