Cheers. I have discovered something about this great mod, and how to insure it registers properly as a settlement. This may have been posted already; but here goes. For a long time I couldn't use it as a settlement. It would show in the list when I'd just open the Pipboy to see the list; but when I'd try to send a settler there it wouldn't be in the list. But one time, a long time ago I might add, it did work right. So I started thinking about what I'd done differently. And I finally figured it out. It works consistently now. The settlement sit right on top a the AC Garage. It is important to approach and active the workstation from the Warwick Homestead side. That is to say do not discover the Atom Cats Garage first. It breaks it every time. I swim across from Warwick, activate the WS, and craft something... just to be sure. It's a pretty active settlement now, with NPCs wandering all over the place. Anyway, if you've not heard of this tip, give it a try next time and see if it will work for you too.
The workshop is in the middle of the swamp, I wanted to make it a settlement because they are all dead except 2. The gunners are relentless and finally killed them off. I flew there on a vertibird , maybe why it's all water?
Yes on a little island, but I couldn't build under it or put it in a building, because it was slightly in the water. Just a weird place for a workshop. I guess it doesn't matter , it can't be hurt.
A very nice settlement for a "real" gang, which is also fun. The Atom Cats garage and junkyard were immediately taken over by a well-known motorcycle club, which can go about the usual business there (see pictures).
What I am doing at this settlement is: Every Settler who is stationed/assigned here is ALSO added to the Atom Cats Faction with a one-line console command: open console, click on the settler, then enter 'AddToFaction 00048641 1' this will add them to the Atom Cats faction as an Ally :) if you already know the REFID of the settler you can do it remotely like this: 'REFID.AddToFaction 00048641 1' where of course REFID is replaced with the actual RefID of the settler
No word of a lie! in less than 15 mmiinutes my 1st four Minutemen settlers there were 'LOOKING COOL!' note: (leaning on the front counter of the Red Rocket there.. when an NPC innocently sanboxes their way into the lobby and leans there ~ that exact spot has some sort of maxwell smart invisible dome of silence sort of where at that spot the settler is isolated from the workshop and will lean there looking cool while you repeatedly obtain assignment confirmations. Don't sweat, soon as they step out or you fast travel back or you move them they will return to workshop control)
Is anyone scrapping all of the Wrecked rusted cars that fill up almost 3/4 of the Atom Cats yard yet?
I am tempted but i don't want to seriously "Cramp their style" by scrapping stuff they want so perhaps another Fan might want to joine me on Discord so we can compare or consult each other about this giant yard of theirs?
Also the cats have predefined pathing and routines so... just trying to approach things in a curteous way.
Yeah, for real. This is the sweetest place in the CW. Atom Cats Crib, the AC Garage, and the settlement... all inside a gigantic build zone. Just awesome.
**updated! The Atom Cats Crib Player Home and Garage mod causes a Disastrous cell reset on that NEPONSET RETREAT mod across the water so i cannot use Atom Cats Crib Player Home and Garage mod
So I tried this/your settlement mod ALONE and Warwick/Neponset are AOK... the AtomCats settlement is AOK and nice surprise to find BoS Fencing installed already thanks :) ~ at first everything appeared Perfect then i saw on the Workshop 50% Happiness this is good!
Just for the Record: when I installed this settlement mod i took the advice of other commentors and approached this NEW workshop for the 1st time from Warwick and I swam across to the little sandbar where the workbench is located... and everything is perfect!
** POWER is all green now!! thanks ** Saved fastraveled, came back and everything is working PERFECT and the trash and debris STAYED away this is an awesome mod lots of fun Totally endorsed, thanks again
forever i had a totally bugged out location mod called Fort Samson just off the Atom Cats coast... i uninsatlled 20 saves ago or more easy but todate some of the settlers who were ONCE at that Fort Samson location are STILL bugged NPC's... but I am going to try this mod today...
** UPDATED everything works perfect, I approached this new workbench the way others suggested, I went to Warwick first and then SWAM across from there to this new workbench sitting on a small sandbar close to Atom Cats on the Warwick side
But Cool is Supreme! and sometimes throwing a new twist into the workshops is like a shot of Echinacea
Have fun exploring the possibilities. As a rule of thumb I don't do Settlement MOD overlaps. Not on my own MOD's and I try to avoid it with others also.
I Just installed this brilliant Mod and everything seems to be working OK except for sharing of resources between settlements. I’ve setup a provisioner between the AC settlement and Vault 88. But I can’t build anything because I have no resources.
I’ve tried moving the Mod around in my load order. Nothing seems to fix it.
Hmm, did you activate the Workbench before you started using it? If not, then return to last clean save and activate Workbench first, and then start building. Also monitor how Supply Lines then work.
EDIT: also it seems from reports of other players that you should approach this settlement first time from Warwick's direction!
You find the workshop out on the sand bar near the toilet. I found it with the brother of steel fences was a bit over the top. Really needs no walls as the spawn point is where the bus stop, which is inside the fence line. Ok, it's cool to have a workbench to help these good cats. Thanks.

ps. there has been speculation as to the fact that approaching Workshop first time should be done from Warwick's direction.
The Atom Cats garage and junkyard were immediately taken over by a well-known motorcycle club, which can go about the usual business there (see pictures).
BTW, there are couple new MOD's that work well with this settlement, one adds vendors, and other makes Atom Cats recruitable.
Every Settler who is stationed/assigned here is ALSO added to the Atom Cats Faction with a one-line console command:
open console, click on the settler, then enter 'AddToFaction 00048641 1'
this will add them to the Atom Cats faction as an Ally :)
if you already know the REFID of the settler you can do it remotely like this:
'REFID.AddToFaction 00048641 1'
where of course REFID is replaced with the actual RefID of the settler

This Atom Cats Settlement mod works PERFECTLY with:
Hozsa's Catle mod and Jenncave/Hozsa's 'Spectacle Island/Warwick Combo mod'
