Are we likely to see continued updates to this mod? I enjoy the interiors in Boston and the newer Bedford station, and would like to see more. I do agree with other players that the number of feral spawns is a bit ridiculous, but it never hurt my frame-rate.
Don't know about the OG mod author, but I'm working on something else right now. I could take a look at the performance side of things, but when it comes to ideas I'd leave that to the OG mod author.
Hey, in case the mod author is still not knowing how to generate precombined meshes and previs data, here is a helpful tutorial by a fellow mod author 'RedRocketTV':
I think it's pretty helpful and might help the mod author of this mod here.
EDIT TO ADD: Did some quick editing, nothing in-depth, generated precombined meshes and previs data for some cells, this is the result for the Bedford station: https://s19.directupload.net/images/user/191214/9u4r9tko.png
I hope it's okay to reply to myself here again. Anyway, I did more editing and generating. I ran into some issues here and there, but Lexington is fairly good with my tweaks: https://s19.directupload.net/images/user/191215/vdmgo69o.png
Also did some stuff in Natick Banks. It looks nice as well: https://s19.directupload.net/images/user/191215/v7ylxk6b.png
I ran into some issues at the Bedford station, outside of the huge hall. The highway kept disappearing sometimes - a problem with previs data. I'll have to take another look at it before I remotely think about publishing anything. But Lexington looks really great, even with the Super Duper Mart being a exterior location here. From 23 fps up to 53 fps. That's 30 frames more. And Natick also looks pretty neat.
Redoing my entire review after using this mod for a bit now. I'm starting a new character just so I can deal
I would not suggest using this overhaul and location improvement mod until the amount of feral ghouls are reduced and the areas edited are more fine tuned to work alongside mods like Sim Settlements and Conquerors.
Fort Hagen has at least 50 feral ghouls placed down in a super-horde ready to rip you apart endlessly on your main quest. Jamaica Plain has massive framerate issues and over-placement of ghouls just like Fort Hagen and will cause issues with Conqueror. Concord edits will clash with Depravity and houses will be jammed inside one another so do not use them together. Another massive horde of ghouls is placed directly outside of Concord with the new houses directly along the trader route; ready to kill new characters and the ever important traveling traders.
I would suggest using Atomic World for those who want something more balanced, framerate friendly and lore friendly.
I love this mod but I'm still having problems with Lexington and frame rate drops, I know your busy working on your New York mod but if you still have them could you re-upload the older version of the mod? The one before the changes to Lexington? If you don't have it anymore that's fine I just wanted to ask, thank you again for this great mod.
Check the optional files in the files tab, there's a version of this mod with the Super Duper Mart interior closed off. That will definitely help your frame rate a bit.
Thank you for the continued support of this mod, and just a heads up, the closed super duper mart version just adds a load door in front of the entrance of the store. The interior still loads in the main overworld, you can look through the windows and see for yourself, that's why it's still causing fps drops.
Testing to close and remove all in the Super Duper Market but I doubt the down of the fps, it comes only from that. I see the same thing for Fort Hagen and Skyrim.
Sorry if i'm being a pain but could you also undo the open parking garage next to the super duper mart while your at it? If its too much trouble or you don't have the time I totally understand I just wanted to ask since you were working on the area anyway.
You should make a variant with no interior to exterior for performance and if possible, with fixed precombines. not many PC can run this mod without going well below 30 fps
Love this mod, and I'd like to keep loving it but I have a confession - I'm having an affair with Apocalyptic Commonwealth https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/38932
I want you both in my life, and the conflicts are very minimal (the occasional car clipped into another car, a bit of land flattened at the eastern end of Concord leaving a building floating). Any chance we could one day see a compatibility patch? I can't live without that Bedford Station and Concord Church interior.
Also I'd love to talk to you re: your Fallout New York mod. You on Discord?
Tryed it, would be theoretically compatible with a couple of minor conflicts. But the biggest problem are the new enemy waves and the large amount of loot. Both destroys the balance, especially when using the desolation mode. A version without (or at least reduced) new encounters and maybe just more static junk (maybe better then just reduce it, cause it's great for immersion) and fewer quality loot would help here a loot.
Apart from that this would be one of the best immersive overhauls, really great work.

However I hope don't stop to make mods like this, why add atmosphere to the game for many players.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Anyway community, what do you think?

I will try tomorrow to restore the SuperDuper Market.
