Also, to anyone running other chem mods, it's easy to incorporate those chems into the hotkey menu for this mod. Customize the menu in FO4Edit under Magic Effect > MedKitEffect and Message > MedKitMenu, e.g. I replaced the Buffout and Med-X buttons with the "Immersive Waiting" and "Hide UI - Hotkey" chems from other mods. Just altering 2 lines in the properties for each.

If you wanted to keep menu hotkeys for all the vanilla chems included with this mod and then add more, you'd alter the script to add additional lines (which would require Champollion to get the .psc source file). If just replacing, you don't need to touch scripts. And how many chem hotkeys do you really need? For me, it's 4, and the base mod gives more than enough to accommodate that.
I use FO4 Hotkeys mod to hotkey a RadPak to F1, and Buffout to F2, but I didn't want to use other hotkeys for other chems as I use them rarely, so I used to open the inventory, search for the chem I needed, and then use it. Takes a few seconds more, but it was okay as it was a rare need.
But now thanks to this mod, I can hotkey instead to this popup menu of common chems, and use it easily anywhere anytime without juggling multiple hotkey or inventory. Excellent, I say.

Edit: I'm not sure if mod is being maintained but it should be renamed to something like "Hotkeyable Chems Menu for Stimpak, MedKit, Buffout, Jet, Psycho". so people can find it easily. I landed here on this mod page quite by chance!
any chance u can put on the menu institute bottled water and food packs . i am playing in surviver mod and it would be cool if u can . if u cant do it that is fine with me . i still like the mod .

Hi. I edited the script (combination of CK & xEdit) to replace mentats, buffout, and medx with purified water and some specific food (noodle cup and mutfruit as they seem to be high yield food for their weight). Seems to work fine in my game. If anyone wants it send me a PM on Nexus and I'll send you the patch. That said, the auto eat / drink mod is awesome and thorough, but I like this mod as a combat tool. If I was a survivor nerd I suppose a configurable MCM menu would be the next obvious step so you can pick what items (and how many) you want to display.
Thanks for the neat mod. Just fyi, the versioning on your mod page appears to be wrong, there is a period in front of the 1, while the version in downloads is 1.0 (which confuses mod managers). Thanks again.
