Hey, question- does this replace the hideous polymer "HIGHLIGHTER WHITE" armor texture too? I'm tired of looking like I'm trying to play bullet-magnet.
Simply put is this just a mod for the base appearance, or do the materials (The polymer one, for instance, which makes the armor bright hideous white) also change.
Just the colour platelet for the combat armour & the base texture, the materials are not touched in this mod - but I'll have a play around with them to see what else can be done.
Aright, dang. I was hoping the polymer armor and the one below it would get a better treatment. They're massively immersion breaking, what with being BRIGHT WHITE.
Yeah that would be great. Using the polymer upgrade turns the combat armor bright white. Your character ends up sticking out like a sore thumb. If you could figure out a way to replace that color with this, it'd be perfect.
Either random drops from enemies in the field (combat armour can drop as the three tiers, heavy, sturdy or just the regular stuff.
To get it quickly, use the console commands for 'combat armour' set parts - then get about 5 of each - RNG should result in you getting the whole lot - just keep adding them to get a full heavy set.
Funny you should mention this, the file structure for these is a little odd, there is a colour pallet file which corresponds to the sections of the armour - ill be going thrown the process of elimination to see which parts I need to mange to address this.
