    Still works in 2023, for me at least. For some reason, the Prydwen had some thick fog going on in my game.

    It goes without saying that this mod should go at the top of your load order.
    And unless you wish to push your fog back x4 this is the ideal fog removal.

    If you are editing many vanilla cells then the x4 will work better.

    I like "fog" but sometimes it is a bit much, this is the perfect solution w/o removing it. Thank you!

      Unfortunately, as I understand it, the way cells are set up means that using this mod would result in the cell names getting changed to English. I'm not entirely sure if there's a way around this yet, but when I made this mod, there was no way to generate the proper localisation files to get around that.

    I am posting this as I was very annoyed with too many "fog" mods and not knowing what to use for what.

    People use the word FOG in 3 ways, first it can be the distance fog that the game draws to give a dusty effect, second it can be particle based fog like smoke, particle dust etc, and then some people don`t know there is a difference and just use the word fog for both clumped together.

    Remove Interior Fog by Abbalovesyou - changes DISTANCE fog by pushing it back very far to the point where you can`t see it

    FogOut (v5) by g10stpd - changes DISTANCE fog by making it not draw at all

    Foggy Rooms Defogged by roxahris - changes DISTANCE fog by pushing it back but just 4x distance from vanilla

    Fog remover - Performance Enhancer by Cruzifixio - changes PARTICLE fog by replacing it with empty textures or something like this, this should improve performance

    This is my understanding about these 4 mods and I think everyone would love confirmation from the mod creators and maybe a clarification posted in each description, even referencing the other mods related to the same issue. I`ll post this in each mod page.

    Either way, thank you all very much for the work you do for us.

      thanks to your comment on another fog mod i stumbled upon Foggy Rooms Defogged. to me this mod provides the perfect middleground between the shitty vanilla fog and removing it altogether. so thank you dukemordred for your comment and thank you roxahris for your mod! kudos and endorse!

    FogOut does not completely remove fog. It only removes distance fog. Particle based fog is untouched. This mod isn't needed as there are already other mods that do this.

      Yes, it does. FogOut completely removes fog by your own admission. Did you not post this in "Remove Interior Fog"'s comments?
      FogOut v5 handles it differently but not drawing fog at all versus putting the limits higher that what you can see (which is what this mod does btw).

      Spoiler alert: you did. While also claiming they ripped you off. Do you know what my mod does that's different to yours? Did you read the description? Did you even download it? No, no, and no.
      Get out of here.

      this will totally remove grass but not bushes.

    Didn't test it good enough because it's makes all interior names in english, but screenshot looks great. Would you mind if i make translation, or i may send you strings files and you make it?

      Yeah, there is a translater http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/215/? but when i tried to traslate some other mod i wasn't succesfull, i think becouse i dodn't have eng. strings file, but there is my one https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwoNWiBXDe8oMGdUdlp0Mm9yb2s .
      Update: there https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwoNWiBXDe8oeW9JVWxlT2VjZlE i made russian translation. Didn't test it in game yet however, i'm not at home right now.

      I've been looking for a way to add proper localisation support to the plugin to avoid the need to having a seperate file for each language.
      Unfortunately, I have yet to find one.

      I think it's because FO4Edit saved names in esp, so such thing as string files not used. May when GECK comes out it will be posible. Or may be some other tool needed, i've saw a mod with string file for different languages somewhere on nexus.
