English translation from Russian: "How do I assign Eric to projectionist?"
My response: Eric is just a normal settler who used to be the projectionist (the name is mentioned in one of the ads). To make an actual projectionist would require me to create animations which I don't have the skills to do. Sorry.
I tried recruiting a certain projectionist, it scrolled through the texts but he never got the menu to go any place. I even tried setting him up to run a concession stand at Starlight and no soap. I will try AFT's "Make Settler" option and see if that works, but I think Eric needs some work.
Edit: Looked into it and I can't replicate it. He's completely fine at this end. Could you reinstall please, and move it to the bottom of the load order and see if it still glitches out? The file on Nexus is completely the same file that I tested he was working with, and it hasn't been modified since the test, and I always download and extract my files since 7z went weird a while back with one.
Could anyone else let me know if they're having problems with it, and if so I'll release him as a complete standalone, to rule out any outside interference from VoTW.
I hadn't actually considered it, and you've given me something to think about. I may put them *near* the drive-in (the bus, or possibly Drumlin Diner), but not actually in the settlement area itself. This is to avoid any conflicts with other mods that alter the drive-in. I need to get all the reels converted first though, before I make any firm decision on that.
Considering that the Three Stooges Malice in the Palace mod had to place its reels in the Crib Room adjoining the screen to avoid issues with the Starlight Drive-in renovation mod, I can't blame you. I have a suggestion as to placement, though.
As gloriously "trashy" as these ads are, might they not fit well inside the shack at Rotten Landfill?
I concur. Seems such publicly available head-scratchers should be sought out for conversion by those far more talented than I. (Currently I am noted for game-blackjacking .bat files like Bounder, just console command groupings saved in Notepad as such-and-such dot bat)
