After much trial and error I gotta say this works great. I was able to convert MW2R Shadow Company and MW2022 Shadow Company armors from male only to unisex. It’s not perfect, there’s bound to be plenty of folks who can do this far better than me, but it works for my purposes! Now I can take away the lazy re-text gear from Enclave story mods and give them those two armors instead! Happy days are here again!
Can you please share the MW2022 .nif file? I'm also trying to convert it to female since it looks weird when enclave female soldier spawn with it, they look like female titan. Thank you!
Edit: I'm able to convert the nif but, IDK how to change it on FO4edit, Changing the armor addon biped model doesn't work.
Fixed: There's loose files that are overwriting it lol.
I work in an outfit studio and I have no problem with CBBE's female clothing and body. But I don't understand how to convert female armor to male. Would it be possible to just write it briefly in points, what to do in the outfit studio? I want to understand how to convert a woman's armor to a man's. Please someone help me. Maybe my English is bad, or I'm dumb... I normally model in Blender, but I can't do this. I keep trying and making a mistake somewhere.
I'm trying to use this to convert the female Joshua Graham armor from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9749
But i'm just running into dead ends, the video guides i've found are always for one female body to another. Are there any guides out there video or otherwise that can walk through a layman like me?
Just create a new project, select the maleToCBBE reference and the male outfit. Then select "Conform All" and move the only slider to 100%. You will see the changes. Lastly select Sliders > Set Base to make those changes permanent and start working on fixing the clipping issues and other changes that you could consider.
Hi, I'm desperate. I do everything according to your instructions. I convert women's clothes to men's. I do everything according to the instructions and in the game, when I use the clothes, I always see only the man's head and no body. But if I use the toblach on a woman, I can see it. Please, give me an advice. I was looking for some video to help and couldn't find anything. Thank you very much. This is the mod of my dreams, but I can't use it yet.
Hi I just wandered over here looking for info on Modding Skyrim. Will this work for Skyrim SE? If so it would solve alot of issues for me on apersonal project I'm working on. Thanks.
I've made a number of mix-and-match outfits using Outfit Studio, for my personal use, and of course they're all female outfits; for the male mesh I've typically used the stock standard Road Leathers or T-Shirt & Slacks (and, since I add my outfits to the levelled lists, tried to ignore male NPCs all wearing the same-looking outfit with different names). One of my earliest outfits puts a Disciples top on the road leathers part of Gage's outfit (I call it the Road Disciple) - and now, thanks to this mod, I have a male mesh to complement it . . . and dozens of outfits to make male conversions for. Endorsed.
Just a quick note, to avoid conflict with True Wasteland Body and other, it would be better to move the "RefTemplates.xml" into the folder "RefTemplates" and rename it to "SexSwap.xml". Then just remove the redundant entries:
?<!-- Reference templates are shortcuts to loading a slider set as a reference in Outfit Studio --> <RefTemplates> <Template sourcefile="ConversionSets\MaletoCBBE.osp" set="MaletoCBBE" shape="CBBE">Convert: Male to CBBE</Template> <Template sourcefile="ConversionSets\CBBEtoMale.osp" set="CBBEtoMale" shape="CBBE">Convert: CBBE to Male</Template> <Template sourcefile="ConversionSets\VanillaFemaletoMale.osp" set="VanillaFemaletoMale" shape="CBBE">Convert: Vanilla Female to Male</Template> <Template sourcefile="ConversionSets\MaletoVanillaFemale.osp" set="MaletoVanillaFemale" shape="CBBE">Convert: Male to Vanilla Female</Template> </RefTemplates>
