If you like the mod: Endorse it!

Please note that the Alternate FX colors are not an in-game option, they are loose files that require a manual installation to take effect.

Blurry textures on some skins? You need the 2k or 4k skinpack at gumroad.com/niero . Use the discount code "cross99off" to get it free! (more info on the mod description's FAQ)

Editing the textures more to your liking? There are two critical things to do before you can open the textures in Photoshop: 1) Make sure to unpack the Ba2 files with the official Archive2 Tool. It should be in *steam*/Fallout4/tools/Archive2/Archive2.exe. The textures of this mod are packed with high quality BC7 compression, which the community BAE tool can't unpack correctly. 2) You may also need to update to the latest version of the intel textureworks plugin for photoshop: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-texture-works-plugin

Some of your skin packs are 99 cents is this a bug or was that intentional?

I have to use a discount code now because Gumroad changed the way free stuff works. The discount code is always listed on the mod page, the comments thread, and on gumroad itself.

Yeah, thats pretty much what I do and the price goes from $99 to $98.01. I am probably doing something wrong but I couldn't tell ya what.

Are you by chance trying to get both Blades and Archimedes textures at the same time? Because each item has unique discount code, so you have to get them separately.

Amazing to see such a wonderful mod! But I got a bigger confusion: recently I'm doing merging stuff, merge loose files to bs2, and I suddenly noticed that you merged textures together with meshes, scripts, which is totally different from what I learned that textures should have a solo bs2. Could you please teach how to do the tricks? That would be really nice.

They textures are in the main archive for the sake of fewer files, they don't really benefit from being in there because they aren't compressed the same way. Merging Ba2 files is probably pointless, its unlikely you'll even notice a difference between compressed/uncompressed textures unless they are 4K+ res.

You can find some in the institute, or craft them at a chemlab.

    Great mod.
But.... killing enemies is completely unsatisfying. Feels like you hitting them with brick and not with the power of the sun. No... even brick make enemies stagger and this gun charge-mode do nothing even thro it have same damage as frag grenade.... no decreasing enemies to ash piles, or burned skeletons, or exploding when hit and set enemise in area on fire... not even makeing emenies explode from inside with bright light, like someone put flashbang in thear bellies... nothing. Beside that everything else look beautiful. Sry4MyEng

Uh, enemies that get directly hit by the beam should get turned into nice toasty ash piles (or ashy skeletons if you use CROSS_Crits with this)...

Yeah....1 of 10 at best. I know that this gun have CritBurn on dead same as flamer, but this thing works 10% of the times. Flamer atleast set enemys on fire, so even if CritBurn fails it will still burn for some time, and this gun not.
My game is heavely moded so mayby it's only in my game, but this gun shoud at least set enemys on fire. This is what you expect when looking how it's leave fire hazars on the ground. Oh and... this fire hazard sets enemy on fire so they burn when get in it, but... it's REALLY hard to miss and hit the ground when firing at behemoth. Even ghouls just drop dead without a scratch like they got hearth attack... it's disturbing.

Wow this is amazing! Thank you again Niero, and thank you TheKite, endorsed!
Only thing I could say to improve, is maybe a more lore friendly way to acquire the weapon. Maybe in some kind of high level locked container marked with an Enclave/prewar government symbol on it. In a crashed vertibird in the middle of the Glowing Sea.

I love it! Quick question, though. Any chance of getting a Horizon patch? If you don't feel like doing it yourself, which I would totally understand, is there anyone in particular you would trust to make it? And do you mind tell me who it would be so I can ask if they'd be willing to make it?
