How do I make the skins appear in the game? I've managed to do this before by messing around a lot with fo4edit and currently I don't have any conflicts. I started a new save, but the skins are not appearing, this happens with other gun metal armor skins mods, such as clothing colors, amor paints and etc... my fomod folder doesn't have any files there, everything is as it should be . but it simply doesn't appear, as if there was a bug in the leveled list, or in the creation of the items.

Hi, do these Gunmetal mods still work? I installed both this and the Armor Paint Pack but while I can paint the vanilla armors, the paints don't show up for Raider Armor at all, and NPCs do not spawn with any of the colored variants.

Turns out I had the same issue other are having with the main .ba2 being stuck in fomod folder. Do this:
copy the "GunmetalArmorSkins-RaiderArmorPack - Main.ba2" file from %falloutdir%/Data/fomod to just %falloutdir%/Data. Basically the file isn't going to to correct place when fomod is read. If you want to uninstall u might have to remove that file manually.
"main.BA2 was installed in the data/fomod/ subdirectory. moving it to data/ solved the issue" DrabRab. I think this would help alot of ppl if posted here lol i dint know why it wasnt working
I do not know why it would be doing that either, it should have been fixed in the 1.01 update. I tested it on my end before uploading and it did work properly.
The Raider armors don't have the Vanilla Armor paint framework like some of the other armors. AWKCR adds color swap framework to every clothing/Armor item in the game, which is why I use it for my mods.
Color still dont show up on mine despite all the files being in the data folder respectively. Need help as to why it dosent work there is not fomod folder for me the main and textures and ESP are all in the data folder like all other mods so i could use some help
Ok rephrase and update apparently it IS working but missing multiple colors while some DO work so Great mod but i guess i wont be able to use this one oh well i got ur other mods though
