I seem to have the unfortunate luck where I can't place any of the beds and then exit the workshop without CTD. Only mod where I have this issue out of 220.

Adults take over these beds.  Is there a way to stop them?

I've finally been able to build a room for Shaun. I don't like the addition of the static pillow, but otherwise I think that this should have the game by default. In fact it has it, I don't understand why they didn't put it in the workshop, I guess it's one of those things that the programmers leave half-pressed because the deadline.
Anyway, thanks for recovering a clipped part of the game content. Endorsed and incorporated into the essential list. No incidents.

      I'm glad you're liking it :)
To be fair and honest, this isn't the first kids bed mod made. The ones that came before heavily inspired me to make this one. So, it's not as though this is my revolutionary idea. But yeah, this is one of many tweaks that the game needs - which should emphasize that Fallout 4 had the potential to be a much more wholesome game. As for the pillows: the way the npc's arms and heads clips with the pillow annoys the living crap out of me, but for me its better than them sleeping with no pillow at all. Especially since they have no trouble building a comfy bed.

There are many bed mods that include some for children, but too a lot of content that I don't want. I try to stick to the vanilla content as much as possible, and just cover its gaps. In that sense your mod is perfect for my game: http://i.imgur.com/RQQeQ91.png

I believe what most likely 'skuttled' actually finishing FO4 was that SimSettlements stuff..
FO4 is literally a 'divided house' in this respect.. PURE FO4 mods and discussions are hard to stumble across actually..

thanks for the bed for Shaun i will try it...
I had one working from that hzs Easy Home mod in an earlier settlement with child shaun (and some console commands)
but i haven't been able to replicate assigning him to a bed in a NEW settlement I moved everyone to yet :(

upDAtED** I can't assign child Shaun to ANY TYpE of beds in this modded settlement.. I only use this settlement for companions dogmeat and him... and 1 other settler who assigned to a bed properly... so this is PROBablY not this mod's fault as it seems universal for Shaun here

Great Mod. Now Shaun and the little boys from Warwick and Nordhagen beach will sleep in the beds I provide, instead of standing around all night. Endorsed. Thank you!

Do the children's beds in the USO mod also work with child settlers?

The esp file reports needing the workshop DLC. Is the lack of this requirement an oversight?

Doubt it is an oversight. Most people own the GOTY edition by now don't they? I mean it's on sale almost every month at the moment?

I'll look into it after the 26th. Too busy until then.

As it turns out, it's an oversight on my end. My plugin header still stated that it required DLCworkshop3.esm even though it doesn't use it. I must've forgotten to take it out. The mod definitely shouldn't require it. File is updated.

It should work. This mod only adds objects and doesn't replace or change any details of anything else from the base game. Have tried you it?

I'm sorry my response is worse and took longer than an EA support employee :[

.... It's okay, I didn't need to sleep anytime this week.

Just an FYI: I removed the double bed from the Orphan's mod.

I see, thanks for letting me know. I Didn't notice the update. I'll check it out - I'll probably just remove the optional file on this page.

And Finally, thank you for recommending my mod on orphan's page.

It would be nice if you could add that bed properly. The main reason I took it out is I couldn't get it to be assigned properly and I didn't have the time to troubleshoot it. Also, I think mods like this could do it better while I could stick to the core functionality with Orphans. Just a thought.

I'll do it some time later after my examinations, when I'll be focusing on modding again :)

This looks cool, the smaller beds are a nice touch. Out of curiosity, can the player use it?. ( I know they'd be oversized) I really wish adoptable orphans were a thing though.

Did you read the description? I mentioned a mod that basically makes a small percentage of settlers spawn as children :)

The smaller beds are actually in the game - i just enabled its construction in the workshop. Yes, the player can use it. Even adult settlers can use it, but as you'd expect they're not sleeping very comfortably ;)
