K, I really feel like I shouldn't have to say this, but apparently Nexus has gotten rude as all f**k since the last time I made a mod.
If you're gonna criticize something (like poor SpaceDende's textures), at least have the decency to do it in a constructive way. Leaving a comment that literally just says "These textures look like rubber s**t" (censorship mine) is not constructive. Yes, the textures aren't great, but if you follow the link to the Modders' Resource, you'll see this was their first attempt at making a custom creature, and when you put it in that light, it's pretty dang impressive.
So, to recap: stating a flaw with the mod: fine. randomly cursing and insulting multiple mod authors: not fine.
I hope you come back because for a firs attempt this is quite good, very few people make creature mods and I see room to improve, something to know is that doing a scorchbeast as a first is too tall of an order, start with something simpler and work your way up, like a remesh of a gun, then maybe a retexture if you want to try that, but you don't have to if you relese it as a modders resource, start again with a smaller creature, like for example the deathclaw and the gatorclaw have the same animations, try making a snakeclaw of something once you got the hang of that reach out to other modders, a lot of the best mods are made by groups of people. you could have you do the mesh have another the textures and another guy do the animations for example.
all this to say refine your skills there is no pressure and there are many ways to improve.
Will give it a shot, my only worry is that with its size it might be weird in caves/tight spaces.
Also, replacing mole rats at higher levels kills variation, which imo is the essence of creature mods. Nothing that fo4edit can't fix though
Last, checking with fo4edit, there are some edits at the Location tab (Cabot House, Sanctuary Hills, Shamrock Taphouse & Hubris Comics) & at Hubris Comics interior cell, that i don't understand what they have to do with the mod. Maybe an oversight?
Great job, & like someone posted below, shame that the trolls killed the enthusiasm of another modder. Hope for your return
Dang, looks like the internet hate mob killed another promising modder. If you'd ever come back I'd love to see this expanded, or anything new from you. We don't get enough unique creature mods for Fallout 4, so this is a nice addition to my load order.
No lo descargué (principalmente porque mi fallout 4 murió y estoy tratando de revivirlo) pero se ve bien, nota para el creador: gracias por hacer este mod
This is great, you could honestly expand on this and make it separate to the Scorchbeasts found in West Virginia. Maybe a lesser evolution of the creature that didn't grow wings but that have added agility or gain bonuses through radiation. Stick them in the Glowing Sea as an enemy specific to that location. Sorry if I sound demanding, just brainstorming!
