    does this work with falloutVR? I see that the automatic reload in that is sort of immersion breaking but this could be a fix

    Just use the Alpha framework 1.32. It has TR and manual reload in one package. This one is old and unstable

    Is there any way to add an exception? I have m1 garand mod and having to manual reload when its out of ammo is kinda silly

    I don't know if it is really due to this mod, but when emptying a whole clip during VATS, the character won't reload their weapon as they should, leading to infinite VATS time where you just stand there pointing your gun. You have to cancel VATS manually when it happens. Maybe it's due to the fact I use the tweak that allows the mod to work in 3rd person as well...

      Yes, this seems to be something the mod creator didn't consider.
      (at least he didn't tell anything about it, either not to use VATS anymore since it's "not realistic" nor maybe he doesn't use VATs at all.)

      It's even worse if you're using guns which inherit only one round- like flare gun, missile launchers or some mod weapons.

    I actually would want this mod because automatically reloading oon the millisecond as soon as the mag is empty is always a weird thing after all.

    BUT there is a really big disadvantage if you're using V.AT.S. IF Your char is running out of ammo in the mag, or even worse if you got modded guns which only inherit one bullet, your char totally won't reload the gun and being stuck in the V.A.T.S system until it sometimes canceling it- so as long as you're stuck in V.A.T.S you can't do anything and the enemy can hit you all the time...

    To anyone that uses this mod and See Through Scopes, does everything works fine? To me the reload stopping sometimes fail and some weapons the manual reload doesn't work at all. Could it be because both edit 1stPersonGunBehaviour?

      yeah I have See Through Scopes too and this mod doesn't work correctly, both manual and auto reload don't work, even if I press R to reload

    VR AWESOME (with these tools)

    Change weapons, save game, and reload game to ensure mod is activated.
    Auto reloading is disabled and it seems manual reloading is also.
    Weapons always equip with ammo if you have it.
    We are going to reload by switching weapons but in a real way.
    Quick Slots for VR mod lets us grab weapons from your body.
    We are going to make a weapon be ammo and grab ammo from our body.
    We are going to use FO4Edit and make 5524b KNUCKLES look like ammo.
    If you don't use FO4Edit you can still do this with the knuckles or any weapon.
    In the boxes find the .nif ones and change them to Ammo\38\38\Ammo.nif
    You can also rename as ammo.
    Now knuckles look like ammo.
    In game equip the "ammo" and add to a Quick Slot on your body. Done.

    Shoot till empty, gun won't auto reload.
    Grab the ammo from your body.
    You now have ammo in hand.
    Take the ammo to the gun holster (quick slot) and grab the gun.
    You have a sound and reloaded gun.

    I grab ammo, I grab gun, I am reloaded. I am just trying all this now at a desk and not with good tracking or test conditions. It feels and looks great but I have to test this in combat to see if it responds fast enough, etc. Please if you try this share your results.
