To clarify on the single question I've had: If you do NOT have 'Visible Weapons' installed, you can still enjoy guitars on your PC's back, you will just have to craft them at the chem bench under 'Tenpenny's Axes - Accessories'.
If you DO have visible weapons, you do not have to craft any accessory - the game will holster the weapon on your back automatically.
The mod made Hotfiles for the week!! Thank you all who endorsed. I love seeing the screenshots - very good work. I'm glad people are enjoying it.
Thank you everyone for the kind words. I see the regular commenters through my other mods coming here as well, and that means a lot. :)
Update: Sorry for two updates in two days, but the Rickenbacker bass weapon should now be fixed. It is the only difference between original and new, so if you're not into the Rickenbacker experience of dual truss rods and warped necks, you shouldn't need to update.
Anyway you know of for me to adjust the spacing of the accessory do you think? Probably game engine choices only, but looking for a solution I can manage.
Also guess I could add a holster kind of thing to emulate and fill the gap.
no strat or tele huh? fair fair, but i would like to point out that Keith Richards literally fought a guy off him with his telecaster live on stage in 1981 and then just continued playing afterwards as if nothing had happend XD
A-HA! Had to know it, mod author is actually a guitarist!
It's guitar for me as well, seems like everybodys a guitarist these days! xD
Though I realized I could get used to and play anything with strings but definitely NOT bowed instruments... Too damn hard and the neighbours would start shoving DEATH threats in my mail box!!! LOL xD
Man, I hope you guys are learning how to make and play your own music and not only playing covers... Not that there's anything terribly wrong with cover bands/cover songs but I often find covers are trying to be too similar to the originals. I think it sounds better when one is trying to put in more of their own interpretation of a particular song. My favorite players sometimes do wildly different sounding cover songs with maybe increased tempo, electric versions of acoustics and vice versa or extemporised solos with the kind of feel they happen to have at the spare of the moment but still has a recognizable sound.
I'm a fingerstyle acoustic guitarist mostly. I do some improv blues (not well, but I stay in key) and rhythm. Main influences are Kotaro Oshio, Jack Rose, and John Fahey.
I play electric, and I'm not bad at soloing in Blues and Pentatonic, and I'm thankfully not stuck 'in the box' on it either, but I'm not good at it either. Freddie King and Color Haze are my main electric influence.
I've got Reaper for composing my own, but I've never seriously tried to make my own either, something I wish to rectify. I've got zero idea how to pull a composition out of my ass though, lol.

I love rockabilly and old school psychobilly. I was wondering if you were planning on adding a double bass.
Instant download. Can't wait AF.
