Hey, This mod is awesome and I am using the long barrel. They work fine except the portion of the barrel that you added works weirdly with shadows. Sometimes i'm in shadows and the tip of the barrrel is illuminated by light even if it shouldn't. You haven't updated this in years, don't know if you still work on mods, I'm just reporting this in case you ever wanna try and look into it.
EDIT: It might be some lighting mod now that I think ot it, Like Enhnced lights and FX, since it makes objects cast more shadows.
I've noticed this issue as well. I honestly have no idea what could cause this other than perhaps something involving the collision box which would require 2013 copy of 3ds Max to add correctly.
THANK GOD this mods exists. I can't stand the stock of the vanilla double barrel shotgun. There aren't any other mods that change this. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

It shows up "glitched" (crosshairs super close together) when you hover over an NPC (as if you're going to talk to them), and then face away and then crosshair shrinks. After shooting, or running, it "resets" it to the normal position. Very annoying to see the super-thin crosshair on screen. Hoping for a fix, otherwise great mod!
This mod is only a mesh replacer. It (very, very likely) cannot affect this in any way, and there's little I could possibly change on my end to fix it, since I don't deploy an .esp that is required to make changes to the fundamentals of the game.
Have you tried uninstalling the mod to see if it fixes it? (should be completely safe to do so) If you've done so and it does fix it, it might honestly be a red herring, as I can't replicate it on my end.
EDIT: I've seen this happen when modules on a weapon makes the aiming spread of the gun zero or below (because they overly increase sighted accuracy). Since that looks like a custom scope on your shotgun, I suspect it's the cause or other modules on your weapon.
Love the mod, was looking for a shotgun which looked more like the one from the point lookout DLC, and this fits that perfectly now. Thank you for the hard work ;)

I love long full stock shotguns and really disliked the vanilla one
