About this mod

Would you like the Double-barrel shotgun to be long and intimidating? Found the stock lumpy and ugly? Then come take a gander at this...

-= What? =-

A small collection of mesh edits to the Double-barrel shotgun.  Three modules were touched:

Extended the length of the long barrel to be about 28 inches long.

Replaced the mesh of the short barrel with the mesh of the vanilla long barrel, which is about 18.5 inches.
(Fun Fact: 18 inches is the shortest a shotgun barrel can legally be currently in the U.S.)

Streamlined the Full Stock mesh to be more pleasing to the eye and looks something like a real stock, compared to the vanilla mesh.

-= Why? =-

After completing my previous project, I moved on to another mesh that called to my attention, namely the double-barrel shotgun. (What can I say? I like shotguns.)

So I present to you the fruit of my labor/practice.  The stock is more in line to what you'd expect a stock to look like, and the progression between the barrel lengths is more natural/obvious.

-= Known Issues =-

Only real issue that can be found is that the 28 inch barrel has the same collision as the shorter (vanilla long) barrel, so the tip of the barrel may clip into whatever it's laying on if dropped. Apparently 3DS Max is needed to edit/work with collisions, but this can be work-arounded by attaching muzzle breaks to the weapon.

-= Compatibility? =-

Only the mesh for all three items mentioned were edited, so any mods that add new textures, paint schemes, weapon modules or edit the stats of the weapon itself should work well with this, assuming they also don't change the folder path for the vanilla magazine meshes.
