i'd really love to use this settlement because i am EXTREMELY done with building sub-par "forts" just to ditch them in a week to make a new one. however, i've never used transfer settlements before, and whenever i try to look up a tutorial none of the tutorials explain how to import from a mod. they only show how to import YOUR settlements, and i can't say i'm not pissed off as of writing this. i've been trying to get it to work for around an hour now. when i figured out how to nuke, it didn't remove all of the covenant items, not even the walls. or the houses. and now it's not showing up in the blueprints list. i don't know why. if you could help me, i'd really appreciate it. thanks

I appreciate the kind words, and apologize for the lateness of my reply. You have to copy the blueprint into a numbered folder in the base directory where your game is installed.

      For example: C:\Steam\Steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\TransferSettlements\blueprints\2

Where "2" is the numbered folder containing the .json file.

Once that's there, you should be able to open the menu in-game, and import the blueprint. Thank you for your forbearance with the lateness of my reply. I hope this helps.

this is great! I know I am a few years late to comment but is there any chance you can make a fire base Castle? if so then much appreciated.

I appreciate that you like the blueprint, thank you! It's never too late to leave a comment, where I'm concerned, until the day I decide that will no longer be a part of this community. (Not any time in the foreseeable future, lol) I haven't considered doing the Castle, but I guess that'd be an interesting project. What do you have in mind? Firebase Castle minus the walls, and everything, or just on the vanilla walls? (I play with a mod that restores the Castle al the way.

Yes, this uses transfer blueprints. I'm sorry you didn't find the description clear enough. How could I have written the description so that you understood better?

Hi! I sincerely apologize for the extreme tardiness of my reply. I'm using a small handful of environmental mods. In order (as they are in my load order), I am using, "Fallout 4 Seasons - Summer", "NMC's Bundle", "Delightful Ivy", "Tree LODs - Summer", "Grasslands 2.0", "True Grass", and "Grassy LOD - Less Bright". I hope that satisfies for an answer, and again, I apologize for not seeing your post waaay earlier.

You will need to face the asset that won't scrap, and hit the tilde ~ key to open the console. Then click on the asset (like a house that won't scrap). This will bring up the formID for that object in your game. This will only apply to your current save, and won't impact your other saves. With the formID in the center of the console window (it will be in white text), type "disable", MAKING SURE you have clicked on the asset you want to disable, and nothing else, then hit, "Enter". This will make the item you can't scrap disappear permanently from your game (again, in your current save, only).

You can do this repeatedly (it's how I did it) with all the assets that won't scrap. You may have to close and reopen the console screen a few times to move around so you can click on and disable those assets one at a time. Once that is complete, you should be good to go. Sorry for the extra work involved. I did try in the description to forewarn those who wanted to use this blueprint. I hope this works for you, and if you find you like this blueprint, let me know, will you?

      Thanks again.

This looks really great. Any plans to do similar things with other settlements? I too have gone with some similar thoughts on how to rebuild the Commonwealth in a very military fashion, but I'm not nearly as talented at the design aspect of it.

Yep, I have plans for Taffington Boathouse, which is right across the way, and a couple of others as well.

Appreciate the sentiment, thank you. A Vietnam era firebase is exactly what I had in mind while designing this.
