REPORTS OF PURPLE SCREENS OR ERRORS OF ANY SORT SHOULD BE POSTED IN THE BUGS SECTION

Otherwise, I don't get an alert, and I don't know anything is wrong until I see there's a comment..

It's TV only.  I'll add that to the description.

A little late, but here you go. The vids are hidden, but the playlists are still accessible. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzDg2-J0RnilLB5Q6BUv6bw/playlists

Doesn't work in the Radiation Star (VOTW 2.6). The tape inserts, but no play.

Seems like this avenue of modding it nearly abandoned, very few videos made for this. This is such a cool idea too. thanks for the video.

I've added a link to this mod on the VotW main page. Thanks for making more content for Videos of the Wasteland.
To get Starlight up and running, you need 30 steel to repair the Drive-In screen (the steel can be either in the workshop, or in your inventory, doesn't matter which) then place a generator near to the projector room (for example, on top of the 'wing' of the building) and connect a conduit from the generator to the side of the projector room, close to the location of the projector.

      Oh cool! Thanks :D

Yeah I've figured out how to do it now. The video I watched showed the conduit connecting to somewhere on the projector, and I couldn't get that to happen, and didn't realise it just needed to be in the proximity. I'll sort out the film reels when I roll out the next update with more videos.

Can you add video link on the descriptions page, plese.

BTW, the "Videos of the Wasteland" -link doesn't work on description page. (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24435)

Fixed the link on the description page. Have a look under the miscellaneous files for the source video :)

I haven't done the version for the Starlight Drive In as I've never been able to connect a generator to the projector (I have no idea why and I'd really tried), so I can't check it works correctly.

All you need is to place a conduit nearby that's connected to a generator. I don't recall ever wiring the Starlight Drive-In projector directly to it for the VOTW reels to work. Just make sure the large projection screen has been repaired.

wait @Nimarus, how does one repair the projection screen? Is there a description somewhere? I'm assuming that it is part of VOTW, so I'm about to take a gander at the mod's page again. Still though, if i'm wrong , will you be so kind as to point me and iqoniq in the right direction?

everything you need to know about how to fix the projector screen and power up the projector are located on the mod page for VOTW. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24435 "The Starlight Drive-In Add-on
This optional add-on (in optional files) allows you to play film reels on the Starlight Drive-In screen. It uses film Reels, from this add-on and other video mods. You can find these reels in the stairs near the projector, or craft them at the workbench. The screen needs to be repaired with 30 steels and the main building needs to be powered. It isn't compatible with mods altering the main building / screen shapes (the re-texture mods are mostly compatible." when trying to repair the screen make sure you do it from the side of the screen

I'll give it a shot later, and see if i can get it to work. I used to have version 1 working, but I've never been able to get version 2 working.

Hey, this is a great idea! I've been waiting on a real 1950's nuclear war video...maybe there is another one and I just haven't seen it yet, but if this is the first of its genre, it is about damn time. Also, if you figure out how to restore the projector at starlight drive, please let me know. I'm also curious to know if there is a tutorial video on how to inject videos into VOTW. Thanks for the mod...

Checkout Razorwire's workshop on YouTube ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzDg2-J0RnilLB5Q6BUv6bw ). He's the author of the VotW mod, and keeps the level tech speak right while showing you what to do.
